Yeah I dished up a portion into my tupperware for lunch tomorrow with a jacket potato. Haha I'm getting a reputation at work for the amount of tupperware I take in. I'll have 4 boxes with me tomorrow!

So funny, i'm exactly like that. At the momen i have 4 lunch boxes in the cupboard in work, then i get stressed when i get home and cant find one. Haha!

Wow, considering you ate out and had a gladd of wine thats amazing going syns wise. Well done! Oyster sauce is the lowest option in the chinese isnt it? I would have thought the satay would be way higher though. Happy days!

Also, when it comes to wine.. Is 175 ml a normal oub measure? They tend to not measure it here but just free- pour. Trying to decide if i will have a glass of wine with my meal out on saturday night and 6 syns sounds very reasonable!

Don't quote me on the satay it's a complete guesstimate! There was 1 tbsp satay sauce dip which is 1.5 syns and the rest was for the oil the chicken on the sticks would have been cooked in so it may well be more or less!?

I asked for a small which is 175ml and a large is 250ml. Most bars measure it either in a wine measure or there is a measuring line on the glass.

Not very SW friendly lol! But SO sweet! I'm really sad to leave this job actually as everyone I work with is so lovely, as you can tell by all the gifts!
:D

I see you had your burger night :D Looks awesome!

It really was. The chimichurri rub I got from wholefoods made it so yummy! I'm literally using that stuff on everything at the moment lol.

Wow, that's lovely Vitagepockets! What a fab send off :) I think given you're at goal you can afford a wee splurge on those choccies.

What IS this Wholefoods that peeps keep talking about? I don't think we have it here in Aberdeen.

They've only just opened one in Cheltenham, I'm not really sure where else they're in the UK as I think they're an American company. Maybe they're starting to come over to the UK and opening more shops. It is literally amazing though. So much yummy food and it stocks the kind of foods you see at food festivals. It's a bit pricey as it stocks things you wouldn't normally find in the supermarket and stocks a lot of local producers.

These are the only ones in UK.

Hopefully they'll be opening more. Strange that they chose Cheltenham of all places as the rest are in London and there is one in Glasgow and that's it. We're only a small town in the Cotswolds!

What a lovely gesture from your work colleagues, good luck with whatever is next on the career front xx

You look lovely in that photo, and so happy! That is really such a lovely kind gesture from your work mates :) Its a pity you will be leaving.

Debenhams card will come in lovely, you could buy something for your new house? Or some nice clothes for your new slinky body? hehe

That burger is literally making my mouth water... It looks amazing.

How much mince did you use for the two burgers? (presume OH had one also) and also the burgers looks incredibly well-held-together, like almost processed, not in any way falling apart. What did you use to bind them? Basically how did you make the burgers haha!

I am definitely making burgers soon. Maybe Sunday, It just looks so gorgeous!

In terms of Oven Fries, do you have McAins over there? They have these 'Rustic' low fat percentage oven chips that are only 3 syns for the whole bag. Worth getting for those times you havent enough time to make the SW ones.

Great, now ALL I can think about is that burger. haha!

I use 250g of extra lean mince for 2 burgers. These ones I did the night before. I put the mince in a bowl and added herbs and seasoning. I then diced finely about a quarter of a big red onion and fried it in frylight until soft. You then just combine the onion with the mince using your hands and shape into burgers. I then wrapped each burger in clingfilm and put them in the fridge overnight until I was ready to grill them. If you leave them in the fridge to 'set' they won't fall apart when they're cooking.
