My cdc advised me to have a chicken salad before a hockey match as I would need something extra but I really don't fancy that for breakfast as my game is in the morning - would an egg throw me out of ketosis or can anyone suggest anything else or else I'll have to stick with an extra milkshake (I'm trying to find an excuse to eat something here I think :D)

You would be better off having the extra shake rather than an egg - an egg is too high in fat.

No to the egg I'm afraid .... cottage cheese any better??? or tuna????

If not have your shake before the game and save the chicken/tuna/cottqage cheese salad until after the game.

    Hope you win!!!

    Thanks,

Yes I think I'll make a little chicken salad to have after the game while the others are scoffing their sausage and chips :sigh:
