Extra Shake?

Hey all,

So far i've done TFR for a full 5 weeks without even being tempted, but today I'm longing for an extra shake or flapjack! Does anyone know if this will have a massive effect? I missed a shake early on in the diet so I have one spare. Not quite sure what's wrong with me today but feeling really hungry and I've had all 3 of my replacements already, and I'm due to head out later so it will be a late night. What to do? Is this a massive no no?

Try and hold off for a bit and get some water down you. If that doesnt work then ask youself whats the alternative if its going to be a food cheat then maybe an extra shake would be better. Really try with plenty of water beforehand though r even a tea/coffee. :) stay strong. JB xxx

Seeing how you do have a spare shake I would think it is best to have it and it won't take you out of ketosis.

Try sipping a glass of warm water as it can also help.

Not sure as to why sometimes the feeling of hunger can hit so far into the diet but it could be that you have not drunk enough water throughout the day or you are near totm.

Or it could just be the Saturday blues as often Saturday is associated with shopping for and eating lots of food.

Thank you both. I think you're right, i'll have a coffee, bath, do my hair, anything to take my mind off it! I think it could just be boredom so I need to snap out of it! Weirdly not tempted by food, but craving another vanilla shake as I actually love them! Grrr...

I've started feeling hungrier, my chemist said it might be my body telling me it's ready for food again. I'm coming off Lipotrim next Friday and starting then as only 4lbs to lose now, yay!

Yes well done Lady bug that's brilliant!! That must feel fab! I have 16lbs to go but I'm getting steady 3-3.5 losses each week now so looks like it might take me about 5 weeks to do! But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and the lovely comments I'm getting from friends are spurring me on!

Curly I managed to resist! Started to get ready to go out, had bath, did make up, hair etc, anything to stop me thinking about it! Being honest with myself it was just boredom, so pleased I managed to refrain and still 100% with no cheats so far! Yay!
