I believe it BUT just to a certain extent.
For example, there are people healing certain conditions through fasting, intermittent fasting or raw foods (I know a person who had a great cancer remission eating raw foods; now he eats whole foods but still a lot of raw and barely no medicines, he looks great).

About Atkins and other meat based diets I feel very sceptic; but mediterranean, raw foods, fast-5, eats stop eat, calorie cycling, etc make a certain sense.

I was just about to say the healing properties of raw foods is amazing, I went "raw vegan" for a good while & I've never felt so good & healthy! Even my clinical depression lifted a bit. Interesting stuff.

That's great Jim. I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian and I feel much better now than I felt on my omnivorous time (I suffered constipation, etc... Now I have my blood tests all great and don't have any problem with bowel movements). But everyone is different and each individual must do whatever works for oneself;)
Truth said, I can't deny that you look amazing now, even though you're on Atkins (maybe, I'm being septical without reason, haha).

I totally agree Aline, each individual needs to find the right plan for them love. I tried loads of things and just couldn't hack any until I found Atkins.
