FAO Ladies: 10 day delay!! The weightloss cycle

This is a post for the girlies, as I thought I would share some information I learned at WW meeting this week which you may find useful.

Apparently our bodies work to a 10-day cycle when we are on diets. So if we have a major piggy week, it may not show on the scales at our end of week WI, HOWEVER it will affect the loss of the FOLLOWING week.

So e.g. if you ate 50 points instead of 20 on Monday (which lets say is your WI day), you may not see a gain the following Monday at WI and may even see a loss,but the WI after that, even if u have been as good as gold, u may see a smaller loss, or a STS, or maybe a gain.

So its worth bearing in mind that our bodies have a 10 day delay from food going into our mouths to it showing on the scales....

it has helped me as now i realise that the WI one week where i was slightly naughty but still lost was actually due to a good week the week before, and surprise surprise, the following week I had a STS!! So there you have it!!
