Fat2slim slim and save diary

Thank you I am sooo pleased the 10lbs has gone and I reached double figures, I am aiming for 4 lbs this week.

Day 8 has been good Bags of energy still, had a subway chicken salad box today for lunch with lettuce, peppers, cucumbers was pleasantly surprised how much enjoyed it, also had the latte shake today which I enjoyed.

Does anyone know if we Can we have gherkins, jelapenos, and olives as part of the salad?
 
I'd stick to the list of allowed vegetables: green chilli peppers are allowed, so yes to jalapenos so long as they're not stored in oil, olives are on the allowed list as well and I'd look for gherkins on the online meal planner as they're not in my book :) hope that helps xxx

Your right should defo stick with the allowed list which i have been doing, helps alot thank you xx
 
Today has been a difficult day, i thought it would be plain sailing after the first week, but i am on day 10 which i never thought i had the willpower to get too, but everywhere i look today there has been delicious food staring at me tempting me, i haven't given in i am pleased to say but i have been smelling food, seeing food, hopefully will be a better day tomorrow.

I think what isn't helping i have been weighing myself everyday sometime three times and day and my weight hasn't changed since Monday. Hopefully its just a dip and day 11 will be a better day xx
 
Dont worry stick to the diet and the weight will come off.

We all get weeks where scales don't move for a while then whoosh
 
Try not to worry too much about the scales, I'm a bit of a hypocrite in saying that but it's true.

Also I try not to worry about food too much, take it one day at a time. If I find foods I want to eat then I add them to a list on my phone and I'm going to treat myself to one a week once I'm off the diet :) it might help? xxx

I can't say this enough. Step away from the scales!!! Really!
If you do this plan correctly the weight WILL come off. No point winding yourself up with the daily weigh ins and not seeing any movements.

As Slim said - stay away from the scales! During the week my weight fluctuates so much!! I even saw a +2lb gain because I had a little but more veg than I was supposed to and not gone to the loo properly! What we hold internally can add up to quite a lot. So NEVER weigh yourself later in the day - just think of all the weight you're putting into your body with the water you're drinking!

You're doing really well, the plan works, as long as you stick to it, the weight WILL come off!

Managed to step away from the scales the last few days and still going sort of strong on day 13, I haven't been eating enough packs the last few days, ive been eating a pack and then a protein meal always chicken and salad..... Ive also been lacking water barely getting through 1 litre so my mini goals for the new week ahead are:

1) get through 3 packs and protein meal each day
2) drink at least 2 litre of water

Even though less calories and carbs I'm not expecting a loss because of this this week.... We shall see!
 
Yay weighed in today another 3 pound lost and gone forever that's 13lbs in 2 weeks, this morning I counted and it's 110 days (15 and a bit weeks) until I go on a family holiday to Dubai, I have 3 special occasions in that time that I am going to allow for 3 days off but won't go overkill but I am hoping for 3.5 stone loss in that time - do you think it's do'able? Xx

I do think its possible to lose the weight in that time, I'm hoping for pretty much the same weight loss in the same time but in my opinion those 3 days you've planned to have off are what will stop it happening. It's just 3 days & if you're still doing so well by the time they come around why take the risk of eating? I've done what you're planning, it's so, so, hard to get back on the packs the next morning, demotivating that week because if you have lost weight it won't be much and your going to try and do it 3 times. Having lost all that weight in the time you want will feel much better than eating normally 3 times! :)

That is so true and some really good words that have rang true with me...... I really want to get to my goal in 109 days so I think when I am out for them three occasions I'll just stick to my protein meal and also have a bar, I've never come this far on a diet before into my third week I usually give up by the end of the first week so I am doing well and can do this! Xx

So, been a bit quite this week not because i have strayed but i haven't been able to have all my packs and water, i am generally have one or two packs and one protein meal, i'm really trying to have my packs but i just cant fit them in in my day or i am just not hungry enough. Water i am generally getting through a litre and a couple of cups a tea a day.

Last night i went to a thai resturant with a group of friends, just had a couple of the chicken satay (without the p/ sauce) so was proud of myself for sticking to it and would normall delve into a chicken curry and rice.

Ive done a few sneaky weigh ins throughout the week - the scales havent budged which i am hoping before weigh in day they will budge but not sure now that i look back over the week and realise i have a) drank enough water or b) ate enough.
 
So this week have neglected my diary quite a bit had a lot going on, kicked my BF of 12 years to the kerb (luckily we didn't live together) as found out he has joined 18 dating sites, some no strings relationships, others looking for long term 'get to know you' and some where he is looking for a casual relationship. Best bit is in all his descriptions of himself he is looking for someone 'slim' and has turned down some women because they are 'fat', like he is any oil painting.
I have been absolutely seething, reading through all the messages he has sent various women. He has blamed it on me for not 'being there', or showing that i 'care' as he is lonely or because i have been refusing to marry him. He now thinks getting married is going to stop him straying. This bloke is unbelievable and lame.

I work, have quite a senior job in a bank that has huge demands, have my own house and travel a fair bit......... he doesnt work, had a heartattack 4 years ago even prior he hadn't work for 6 years before and still says this stops him working. He is a lazy lout, good for nothing idiot.

Through the dramas of the week though managed to stay 100%, although there has been times when i have just wanted to get a massive bar of choccie and sit on the sofa, i have no intentions though of feeling sorry for myself............ his loss as far as i am concerned, looking forward to seeing a loss on weigh in day on monday as last week stayed the same.
 
Sounds like you've had a lucky escape. You don't need a moron like that in your life just a shame you've wasted so much of it on him:-( you sound so focused which us amazing given all the crap you've had to deal with. So many people would have turned to food so you should be really really proud of yourself that you've stayed so strong :)

Defo wasted a number of years on him, certainly dont plan to waste even an hour more on him - hey ho we live and learn. I need to stay strong as keeps me in control, defo proud of myself with sticking with it and coming this far, this is the longest i have been on any diet i am loving it........ need to just get another 14 weeks over with and have a lovely holiday, hopefully three stone lighter aswell. Time will fly by. xx
 
Yay 5lbs off this weigh in - so chuffed made up for last week :D
