Total Solution Fed up of the fat; Exante diet

Weighed in, plus 1lb this week. I expected more really. Body fat percentage up 0.7%. Not too downhearted though, as I threw on a pair of cropped chinos this morning. I pulled them on without undoing them. They are the trousers that were a good 4 inches from even closing when I started a few weeks ago.

I've not eaten anything yet today. I had a big coffee this morning and loads of water. I will probably just have a shake and a Greek salad for the rest of today.

I'm back in diet mode. Still struggling with the head stuff, but feeling in better control of food.

Im going to do a mixture of MRP shakes and juicing.

Yesterday I made 3 big juices:
Green; Savoy cabbage, lettuce, spinach & mint
Orange; carrot & red, orange & yellow peppers
Fruit; red grape (whole fruit) & kiwi

I got through 3 litres and felt full all day. I'm going to juice with a salad for lunch for as many days as possible, then switch to shakes for as long as I can handle it.

I have ordered lots of fruit and veg from a local supplier, and got a decent veg wash to make sure toxicity levels are low if I keep the skins on, to make sure I have a good spread of vitamins and minerals, and will add spirulina for protein

Good day today. Had 2 STW shakes and 1.5l fresh juice.

I stayed full all day, but it does play havoc with your bowels.

It feels a lot better to be having the concentrated nutrients from the juice.

I have my fresh produce arriving tomorrow, so tomorrow I'll just do 100% juicing 80% veg with 20% fruit (I'll blend the fruit to add some fibre and help stop the impact of the sugar).

I've been making organic, anti-ageing body scrubs today. I feel like I've become a bit obsessed with having natural things in my body and on my body. It won't last, though. Just another fleeting fancy. It's great while it's here, though.

I'm feeling fantastic today. After just 2 days of juicing my eyes are more sparkly and my skin is so clear.
I feel really healthy.

I'm still under 900 calories a day but feeling so much better. I don't feel at all hungry and I'm not having any cravings... like my body is getting everything it needs. I had a full 8 hours sleep last night, for the first time since March.

I finally have a full length mirror and I'm really starting to see a change in my body shape. My waist is back and the muscle definition in my legs (apart from my inner thighs) is better.

Weight is back to 17.2 and body fat is down to 29.5%.

I have friends coming over tonight, but I will probably just get a takeaway for them and I'll stick to juice.

So glad to read that you're feeling brighter, I can't imagine having to do this diet while suffering from depression and not being on the right meds - you've done amazingly well.

I plan to stop smoking after Christmas, there's no way I'm giving up not, not having food and cigs would wipe me out! I stopped in 2001 and stupidly only started again last year after an awful day in work :eek:

Btw the I have to let you know that you have the most gorgeous eyes :)

I am feeling a lot better. The juicing is doing wonders for my mood, although I've never been able to stick to a juice fast for long, but doing Exante has made it really easy.

I was catching up on your diary yesterday... It looks like you had a lovely time with your boy! Well done on your weight loss... You've done so well.

Have you tried E- cigs? I've been mainly on them for 18 months and they are brilliant. I still go back to smoking every now and then, but having them as an aid to stop makes making the decision to stop so much easier. I've tried quite a few, so if you ever want a users advice before trying please let me know.

Hi Arya, sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your message. I agree, exercise does help, although I was in one of those 'can't get out of bed or open the curtains or eat or wash or watch TV' moods. I'm feeling much better now.

Thank you! So are you, with all the exercise you must be getting super toned!

I've been juicing for years (although not solely), so don't really have recipes, but I follow some golden rules to ensure a good range of vitamins:

3-4 x 500ml of juice per day

Each juice a different colour 'juice the rainbow'

3L water per day to help flush liver.

Each juice 80% veg vs 20% fruit, the fruit is just to add a bit of sweetness but not provide a spike in blood sugar.

Tummy ache, cravings, sore boobs, jawline spots, swollen up like I'm pregnant... PMT is in effect. I'm not going to weigh until it's been and gone as my usual PMT weight gain is 7 - 10lb :(

Hi all.

I hope you all had a good week!

I've decided to stop the Exante products altogether as I feel so much better just concentrating on nutrition & whole foods.

I have a LOT (about 3 months worth) of Exante packs left over, and am going to eBay them, but if any of you want to buy some from me, just let me know.

I have all the meals, soups, both porridges, all the shakes and the orange & chocolate and toffee, nut & raisin cereal bars.

I'll stick them on eBay next week, so get in touch if you want anything.

I'm okay. Still off the packs, but juicing and eating really cleanly. Not weighing myself anymore as I'm just listening to my body and eating what I need, but I'm down another dress size since I stopped the MRP packs.
