I need to find some motivation from somewhere, i joined SW last July and had lost 2st 6lb when i went on a 2 week cruise in feb. Came back last week and had gained 12lb in the fortnight!!! i know i had been off plan but i was not expecting a gain like that and its really thrown me. I have weigh in again tonight, ive been on plan everyday except fri and sat evenings when i was out socialising but i made wise choices and was as good as i could be. but im terrified i wont have lost and i think that will be it for me as i feel so down about it but i do want to carry on in my heart - pity my mouth dont want to help me!!

The thing is hun.....do you wanna stay off plan and carry on with 12lb gains? Or nip it in the bud now and get back on track?

That's how you have to look at it.

If you havent lost this week, write it off, and start again 100% next week.

Past experience shows you CAN do it. So just keep thinking of that.

you've had a fabulous loss to date hon. and if it went on that quick i'm sure it will come off quickly too. try not to get despondant. easier said than done i know, but you know that it works and you don't want to end up back where you started when in a couple of weeks you could be back to your pre-hols weight and have all those fantastic cruise memories!! :D

hun i think the chances of u losing this week r good if u haven't its ok its better than what would happen if u gave up. if u put 12lb on in a fortnight how long do u think it will take to gain everything back u have lost not long i bet.
i know 12lb is devasting hun but its done now u can't change it u can only work to take it back off. stop worring hun i'm sure u will be fine

It was a cruise for two weeks, you went off plan, I assume you had a fabulous time and you put on 12 pounds for that, you know you can lose it because you have done it before, go back to your books, read them all again, get some food diaries & start afresh, I bet when you do go to weigh in you will have lost anyway. I am off on my first cruise in September and I am fully intending to come off plan and just enjoy myself - that is what holidays are for - and remember that SW is a life long plan not a quick fix, you faced up to your gain and you want to lose it again, yes it is a bit of a shocker to gain 12 pounds but you do know you can do it so go for it, I wouldn't be surprised if you could lose it again within a month at the most if go back to being a 'newbie'.
