    Sorry, here to rant again,

    Feeling Peed off, wanna eat.

Frustrated at myself, not even two weeks into it and I can see myself failing! I really really don't want too, but I am really missing food, eating with my family etc!!

I dont feel hungry, like the packs, (except for the mushroom one YUK!)

I have realised just how much I emotionally eat! It has disgusted me tbh. Everything in my life seemed to revolve around eating.

My sister announced her engagement yesterday, and straight away we planned to go eat to celebrate! I didnt go in the end and feel [email protected] for that too!

She has a party soon, and I know how hard its going to be. I know I CAN do this, but am feeling it really hard today.

My scales show a daily loss, so I should be over the moon, instead Im a moaning whinge bag, who could probably do with a slap!!

thanks for letting me moan. this board is a god-send!

Oh even forgot to mention, my lovely hubby bought me a nintendo ds games console as a gift for doing so well. he said everytime I wanna eat, play a game. its addictive and it does help bless him! So really should stop moaning now!

Hey, 10lbs in 10 days that is brilliant :D . You have done so well, the first 2 weeks are not easy but you are nearly there. Try and keep yourself busy and any nights out go on them - I did. I went to my sons 6th birthday - pizza hut - sat and drank black coffee when they were all eating pizza, ice cream etc., but I stood firm because I know I will be able to have some of those foods again - eventually but only when I have lost the weight I DON'T want anymore. Stick to it girl :) you have the will power just think what you want more pizza (or whatever your preference is) or to be slimmer.
    take care.

    Hi Angela,

What a lovely husband you have and he is obviously behind you and encouraging you, what more could a girl want?

I found I was avoiding social occasions and really people I have found are more than willing to help and support when you tell them, apart from the odd one who thinks you are starving, but they are in the minority.

We are brain washed into thinking we are missing out if we are not eating all the time in celebration of an event.

The truth is there will be more times in the future and you will enjoy them a lot more when you have your weight where you want it.

Because the reality is that when you get so big...you may feel you never want to go out much anyway.

So you have to think about that and I feel you coming on and having a rant means you know yourself slimville is the destination you want...it does get easier.

I went through Christmas last year and I really did not feel left out as I went and partied etc.

My biggest regret is that broke the diet and then I found it so hard to get back into that wonderful frame of mind again.

I would of been at goal ages ago:(

You have done brill and it really does get easier as you go.

Right thats the slap out of the way now we can move on.

Firstly, you have done really well so far and resisted going for the meal.:)

We all miss the eating with the family when on this diet as mealtimes are such an important time of the day especially when you have children.:(

When is the Engagement party, maybe this could be worked into the add a meal week. You will by then of course look great because you have stuck to the plan and lost some more weight.

Nice hubby buying you the nintendo, by the time you are at goal you will be a champion:D

And finally you can moan as much as you like, we are all hear to help you.:p

    Hi Angela

I can relate to virtually everything you have said in your post, I miss eating with the family, I miss social eating, I miss tastes and I miss flavours. I hate sitting here watching my husband eating an ice cream bar whilst all I have to look forward to is a foodpack!

I hate the uphill battle to keep myself on the straight and narrow, I hate the blips (and there are blips), I hate my chatterbox, but the biggest thing I hate is being fat.

So I take each minute at a time, not every minute passes without a slip but I am trying hard to keep on the straight and narror and to limit my thoughts as well.

It isn't an easy journey, each day has seen me struggling - 8 times out of 10 I can walk away from temptation, the others I don't but I can learn from them and try to limit the damage.

I can't say it will get better because I am not sure it will but it does become easier to cope with as you distance yourself from food.

Good luck, we are all here to help and to listen and to empathise.
