Feel like crap :(

Sorry guys this is going to be a moan. I have a really nasty cough - and it hurts to cough. I am away at my mums for the weekend and she is a chain smoker so my cough has been aggravated no end. Hubby has been moaning down the phone that i need medicine - which i can't take or its goodbye ketosis :(

I am feeling very sorry for myself - and would really like some ideas on how to make myself feel better without breaking the diet!

Hi chick cant offer much advice as never been on the plan you are on....your hubby is right though because if you dont catch this cough now it could turn into a chest infection....its not good to deny yourself meds and you can get back on track when you recover....its your bodys way of saying it needs help....also does your mum not notice that her smoking is making you worse??? If she loved you she would make a compromise...take care and get yourself better then resume your weight loss process...xx

hiya hun go and have a nice warm bath that will ease your chest and loosen any crap thats on their I really dont bother with cough medicines as there full of sugar take a couple of paracetemol and have an early nite

Hope you feel better soon. Green tea will help you lots. It's full of antioxidants so is probably better than sugary medicine anyway. Drink lots and lots and the warmth will help your throat too. May find it increases your weight loss too xxx
