    Hi All.
So tonight is my first weigh in. I weighed myself yesterday and i havent lost a single ounce, but havent put any on. For the last 2 days i have been like a bear with a sore head. I dont know why i'm being so grumpy. Maybe its just my bodys way of getting used to not having all the junk food i was having before. :sigh:

I'm off on holiday early tomorrow morning, cant wait to relax on the beach! Hopefully a bit of r&r will lighten my mood.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
    Much love

    Rach x :D

Hi Rachel, wait to see what the result is of your weigh in. As you may be aware, weight will fluctuate from day to day so you may be pleasantly surprised, and even if you don't lose any this week, that could just be due a little extra water weight.

In theory, due to the way a woman's body changes over the course of a 30 day period what with menstruation etc. you should really only weigh yourself once every month to get a more accurate reading, but let's face it, who can wait a month to see if there's any change?!

Just don't let it get you down too much. On my second week of the FAF I lost nothing, the third week (first week of phase 2) it made up for it.

Have you measured yourself with a tape? Keep an eye on changes there too as you'll notice a loss in size using a tape and trying on new/smaller clothes at first.

Good luck with your weigh in and have a great holiday :)

Good luck at the weigh in. Sometimes it takes your body a while to adjust to a new eating regime. If you don't lose this week it will show next week. Well done so far x

Hi Rachel, I will just echo what Sarah & Angie have said. Everyone's different and as long as you have stuck to the plan of the first 2 weeks, i.e. 1200 calories, 5% fat and no alcohol, you will be ok and it may just take a while to show. You may be pleasantly surprised when you get on the scales, if not this week then next week.

Also, stress can stop you from losing weight too. Try taking a long soak in bubbles, dance around to music or do whatever takes your mind off things.

Good luck and keep your chin up x

    Thanks Ladies

Thanks ladies for your replies. I went for my weigh in and have lost 3lb. So was very pleasently surprised! My mood does seem to have lightened. And I'm back to being positive again,I do think its just my body getting used to dieting.

Thanks again ladies, I hope you are all having a good week too.

    Rach xx :)
