Feeling great everyone!

For the first time I can honestly say that I am feeling really good. I'm starting to feel a difference in my clothes, I feel in control of my food and I feel well within myself. I'm even getting more motivated to do the things that I've wanted to do for years but felt to anxious about - like get my driving test passed! Since having my 2 little ones (2 + 3 years) I have been feeling quite low and anxious. I gave up my job and spent much of my time at home eating and cooking! We don't live near family although I have made some nice friends locally but I think my self esteem has just dropped so much since having my babies. I have felt like the plump one amongst my friends, although ironically I was always so skinny when younger, but now people know me as the one who is a bit out of control around food. There are so many times when I have felt lethargic and have just wanted to stay in the house. Sometimes going out has been such a huge effort.

But now I am feeling so good. I'm motivated to make some changes. I'm going to get my driving test passed which will give me more freedom. I am going to do some part time work from home. I'm going to make an effort to do some exercise that I enjoy. I'm going to make sure that I get out of the house everyday with my little ones. :family2:

I just wanted to post this to those of us who are just starting as although I have had my tough days I am really starting to feel more positive. The effects of losing weight are not just about what the scales say, but more importantly about self esteem increasing. I honestly think that even simply the act of having nearly completed 3 weeks on CD has given me a sense of achievement as I never imagined that I could have done it. I'm off camping this week and am even feeling positive and motivated about my eating, whereas as even a week ago I was making lots of justifications to myself about eating more when away.

SO well done to us all for sticking to this. Even when we have little blips we are all still heading in the right direction compared to what we were doing before. We need to keep noticing our negative thoughts and habits and learn from them to start our new lives as healthy beautiful people! XXX:grouphugg:

hi there, i have been on cd for 4 weeks now. just wearing a size smaller clothes has given me such a boost you wouldnt believe. however, i still have a long way to go.

Some of my clothes are absolutely hanging off me. I am then so proud of myself but i have not won the battle yet, so i have bought a size smaller clothes and instead of wearing the larger ones and feeling as if i have lost a lot of weight, i am wearing the smaller ones, which some are a little tight but it just reminds me tht i still have a bit to lose!

does tht make sense??
