Hiya I'm Fee and this is....you guessed it... my diary.

Since having my baby boy I've struggled to lose any weight. During my pregnancy I ate healthy and didn't touch alcohol, but boy have I made up for it since. Take aways, buckets of wine, snacks, naughty nibbles, cakes, crisps & puddings. I've had them all and I loved every bit of it.

What I'm failing to mention is, my little boy is now 1yr old. So I've spent the past year stuffing my face!

I return to work in a couple of weeks and I'm not looking forward to wobbling through the doors. Id like to lose 10lbs by then and continue to set goals for the future.
I hope that this diary will help me control my eating and show me where I'm going right or wrong. Also hoping for some support from anyone out there that can help me along the way.

Hi Fee and welcome:) I also have a little boy he's 16 months old nearly, I know exactly how you feel I've put on 2 stone since my son was born even though I was very good through my pregnancy like you.

If you need any help I highly recommend myfitnesspal.com it lets you add everything you eat and works out the calories for you I go on it daily and it's fab. Which diet are you doing? Wishing you all the best on your weight loss journey xx

It's a great diet wen u pass the first wk as its the hardest but I on my 7th wk my weight loss slowed down a bit but I don't mind! I have lost 6lb lots more ppl have lost more than me n done marvellously x
I use the app myfitnesspal like Carly says it's v useful x n if u struggling for help join our SF buddy thread n check out the SW/low cal recipes threads for tea ideas xxx

Hi and welcome! As already stated it takes a while for your body to get used to the diet but after a couple of weeks you'll be less hungry, feel good and hopefully lose weight. Bst of luck for the week ahead :)

Ahhh thanks for visiting peeps.
well day one wasn't so great. I almost slipped up while shopping, when a man from starbucks offered me a free sample of strawberry& cream frappuccino with mountains of whipped cream on the top. Without thinking I accepted. Luckily my son demolished most of it and binned the rest. Ok I admit it, I had a sip and it was delish.

I did the whole slimfast thing great but my evening meal was a bit big and I followed it with a.... urm.... Red Velvet cupcake. Big oops!!

Excercise
1hr walk
15mins on Rower = 500 strokes

Roll on day 2

aww it does happen I had a chinese on monday whoopsy the key is to get back on the horse though :D glad it's going well for you xx

Day 2 was better.
2 vannila shakes
1 banana
1 special k bar
Ham & egg salad for dinner with a kitkat.
2hrs walking

Weight -1lb

Day3:
Exersice: 1hr walk + 15 mins on rowing machine = 505 strokes.
1 vanilla shake
Half a banana
1boiled egg
1 tomato
Special K bar
Then pizza chips & salad (hangs head in shame). Aswell as half bottle of red wine (rolls eyes).

I really enjoyed myself last night but now I feel like an idiot.The worst thing is I'm going out for a family meal this evening to an indians. Feel like I shouldn't go now. I just have no self control.

Don't sweat it honey u only at early stages it will get better! Make sure u go tonight n have a good time just watch yr portion sizes x enjoy x back to normal day after or work off some more cals doin extra exercise that always makes me feel better xx

Thanks wishbird. I always feel so motivated on a morning but then by the time the evening comes I lose control.
I've been looking at some photos of myself from a few years ago when I was just under 10st and I looked so toned and I remember feeling great too. I think I need to start looking at these pics when I feel like stuffing my face.

Hi fee, don't worry about it hun, its tough in the beginning!just a thought, it could be that because your snacks as so low in cals you aren't receiving much energy from them and your sugar levels are crashing which will make you want to crave certain things come the evening..have you tried the SF snack bars, even if you only have one a day (they are only 100cals but quite high in sugar) it just gives you that boost you need and they are yummy too xx

I never thought of that awcarly. Good tip. I'll look out for the SF bars on my next shopping trip.

Just got the MyFitnessPal App on my phone. Loving it. When I typed in yesterdays food, my eyes nearly popped out of my head LOL. Think it will really help me see where I'm going wrong.

even if it's not the SF snacks..you can also have low cal soup (under 100cals) if you're feeling a bit empty it just keeps you going and fuller so you don't feel so deprived.
Ahh I love MFP can't recommend it enough it's brill and shows you exactly what you are eating and what you can eat if you fancy a treat. xx

Oh Bank holidays weren't made for dieting. Total disaster for me.
On the bright side I've lost another lb, but don't know how after the cream cakes!!
Wishbird, I don't know how to add people on MFP. I have the app and it just let's me add food & activities to my diary & enter my weight. Let me know what to do to add people pls x

If u go to the friends tab on the bottom n send an invite, putting yr email address in n the friend u want so u need their user name then it sends an invite n they accept then they added, if u want I will send u an invite so wats yr username Hun?
