I finally started today. Had the Cafe Mocha shake this morning and it was revolting but I did have a few warnings about it so I knew what to expect. Luckily I only have a few of the e:packets so will have those first to get them out of the way.

Hello! I'm a new starter too, I started last Thursday (ooh that's gone quick!) and I feel great!! To feel in charge of something (my weight) (and see scales moving) that's made me miserable grumpy and depressed is an amazing feeling!

Everytime I've felt like eating I've said to myself 'do I want to be slim or taste this?'

have you thought of freezing it , might be nice as a frozen dessert , i find havin my evening shake frozen passes a good 20 mins trying to scrape it out of the bowl and gets me thoug a tricky part of the day when all i want to do is pig out

my manta when im feeling weak is the same really
do i want to do this diet for a short time then spend the rest of my life maintaining a healthy weight or be stuck in a body i hate forever

Ooh, Slim and Save ice cream? I'd thought about trying some of the foodpack recipes on the other VLCD forums - but I wonder if doing things like that might ruin the nutrients? It'd be nice to know, because I have two economy tomato soups that I know I definately won't be eating if they have to be eaten as is :(
