First time on CD & starting tomorrow :)

Not sure if the CBT helped, I still remember some it but it obviously didn't fully sink in or I wouldn't be here lol! Will try and find the LL books and refresh myself I think :) x

Day 2: feeling a bit crap to be honest, bad headache from yesterday lunchtime that hasn't really eased at all - so paracetamol for brekkie :)

Pleased that I survived the cinema yesterday evening, especially as DS had his bag of choc raisins right under my nose!! Then had to excuse myself from the table, soup in hand, as they all tucked into fish & chips... the smell was almost too good to bear, but I resisted! Whoop!! Small personal victory :)

Well done, what an achievement! Be proud. This crappy feeling will go soon :)

Hi Deej...how are things going? - Hopefully you're over the worst now? x

Well done at resisting the cinema temptations, it makes things so much harder.

Hi MA - things are going fine thanks, muzzy head gone by the end of yesterday so feeling much better and thankfully the tummy rumblings have gone as well :)

Had a couple of possible slips at restaurants over the weekend but was very strong and stuck to fizzy water and black coffee!

Also had a bit of a downer feeling sorry for myself, but have kicked myself up the bottom and feeling positive :)

How are you doing? xx

That's good :)

Well done for being strong, this is the thing I find hardest...the socialising aspect!! You're brave for putting so much temptation in your way so soon but its great that you can get through it :)

Ah we all have them days...think positive, you will see the scales shifting soon and that will make you feel so much better. What is your WI day?

I'm ok thanks, i seem to have settled in to it properly this week as i'm hardly thinking about it all now its become so normalised. I even managed to brave the restaurant for my daughters birthday and just had steak (not strictly to plan lol) and salad and drunk water.

Bit annoyed though as the scales havent moved in the last couple of days :( xx

WI day is Wednesday, so am really looking forward to that - but also expecting great things, so don't want to be disappointed! I think I have lost about 6-7lbs at the moment - but was really hoping for 8 so I can get into the 11's. I know first week on LL I lost 9lb, so have to be realistic that I probably won't get that far as less to lose now, but I am impatient!

Well done for resisting on your meal out - is it only chicken you are supposed to be having on 810? It does take immense willpower, especially when you are faced with a menu full of tastier alternatives lol!

I have a bit of a dilema soon as well as it will be my 10th wedding anniversary on 28/7 and we would usually go out somewhere nice to eat, but I am supposed to be on SS! That works out to be the day after my 2nd WI so I suppose I could have a 810 meal out just for that day? I don't want to spend anymore time than absolutely necessary on CD, so don't want to spoil what I've commited to.

Saying that, I have definitely added at least 1 week to my journey by binging on yummies during the 10 days before I started CD - d'oh!

Good luck for WI tomorrow Deej :) Thats a fab amount already!

Patience is not my strong point either, i want it all gone tomorrow. Has been really tested this week as i haven't lost a single pound and i have been 100% :mad:but i am thinking, run up to TOTM could be to blame

You can have a few things on 810, chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, tuna and some other stuff but i wanted steak lol...it was my compromise for not blowing it completely i suppose, but i know it doesn't kick you out of ketosis either so i thought it was still a safe choice.

Ah congratulations! I dont think picking something from 810 would do any harm for a day, i think the main thing is to stay low carb and alcohol free. I must admit, i found drinking water there very boring though!

Lol...the pre-diet feast, i know it well :D

Well, saw my lovely CDC this evening and have lost 8 3/4lb !! This takes me down to 11st 13 and finally away from the terrible 12s that have been haunting me since last October - really chuffed and looking forward to next WI! :) xx

Fantastic Deej!!! :) Well done...must feel great being in the 11's xx

Thanks - its great and even though its only one week I am really starting to notice a difference :D x

How are you getting on today? when is your next WI? Good luck x

Thats fab that you can feel it! You are well on your way to final goal now with such a great 1st week...that must feel fantastic!! :)

Well tomorrow will be 2nd WI and am looking forward to it - have been mostly 100%, just a few mini nibbles of scones oops, but they were tiny (and still in ketosis!)

Am really pleased with myself so far and the fact I've stuck to it! Clothes are getting loser and into some smaller stuff that has been in the back of my wardrobe, also have people noticing which is lovely :)

Am going out thurs night and will try and have an 810 day so I can share our 10th anniversary dinner! Also, have just booked 3 nights away at a spa hotel for mid-august as a late celebration, so have another goal to aim for - but will have a few days off plan and hopefully I won't do my usual and go mad!

Well, am chuffed - 4.5lb off for week 2, so 13 1/4lb in 2 weeks :) really pleased and looking forward to next WI!

You're doing great Deej, at this rate you won't have to be on it long at all! I wish i could say the same, i am starting to feel fed up with it now and i can't even see the finish line lol!

A belated happy anniversary :) How did your meal go? Spa break sounds lovely and will probably help keep you on track, its the thought of my holiday that's keeping me in check because i have already decided to have it off plan - it feels much more reasonable telling myself 'not yet' as opposed to 'no' i cant have at all!

Hows it going this week? x

Confused and slightly miffed!

Well, had WI this evening and lost a pathetic 1/4lb  !!

Had a chicken salad last Thurs night and I will admit to a few tiny tastes of this and that over the week, but hardly any calories and I'm still in ketosis! CDC said not to be worried as it might have just been a weird week and I'll see it on the scales next week - really hope so  it's not TOTM and I've been drinking at least 2.5-3L a day, so am a bit miffed! Any ideas and has anyone had a similar week?!!

Will continue though and try and curb the tiny tastes lol! Although, am going out with friends on Friday night and will have a 810 day - carb-free chicken shashlik and NOTHING ELSE!! x

Don't stress too much, it's really common to have some really small losses some weeks and then the next week is a big loss. Plus I read that ovulation as well as TOTM can cause you to stay the same.

Thanks for the support - it's heartbreaking, but I'll stick with it!! xx
