First Week Down

So after trying a couple of times to get back on the wagon with the old slimfast and failing misserably i decided to try calorie counting instead. My Mum used to do it years ago with something called Slimming Magazine which was a class she used to attend. Anyway i thought i'd give it a shot. A friend recommended using My Fitness Pal to give an eye on my calories and although i'm eating more than it says i should i lost 3lbs when i got weighed on Sunday. Chuffed with that as i didn't feel like i'd lost anything. Now all i need to do is motivate myself to exercise more as i'm doing nothing at the moment really.

Just wondering though, if for any reason you don't eat your allocated calories for day do you carry them over to the next day or just start that day with what you orginally should have had?

I just start over. I know some people work with weekly net calories though and have some higher days than others.
