Firstly well done on the 4lbs, great start!

Regarding the birthday weekend couldnt you maybe pace yourself? Enjoy yourself without going mad? Either way hope you have a fab weekend. :)

well done what a great start!!
make sure you enjoy your birthday weekend, im sure you will, but this is the ideal time to start training yourself how to enjoy yourself and eat in moderation without blowing out like we all used too!!

Well done you!!

I agree, enjoy your birthday but I would just try and limit the damage a little. ie a vodka and diet coke/soda is less calorific than a glass of wine (sadly lol). Oh and you can always do a little extra gym ;)
