    Had my first weigh in last night and was rather dissapointed to see I had only dropped 2 pound! :(
    I have not cheated whatsoever and been drinking plently water.

    Has anyone had this? Expecting a big loss on first week and getting a really small loss?

    I lost 4lbs on week one and was expecting loads more but I lost 7lbs on week 2 so you might get a better result next week.

    Well done debbie just think you could of put 2lbs on!2lbs is a good loss:)
    Maybe up your water intake?Are you doing CD?

    Yes Im on CD..drinking around 3 and a half litres a day
    Id would have been happy with 4 pound. 2 pound is nothing :confused: But I suppose it could have been 2 pound I put on..

    What did your CDC say?
    Theres lots of people who have tons of Cd experiance on here who can advise you.
    Are you in Ketosis?
    Is it your TOTM?
    Sorry you didnt lose more but stick with it and I bet it will be lots next week!

    Yes - it could be hormones (totm), that can make a big difference

    Hi Just reading your Blog,how many tretas did you drink last week?I think I read some said in your 1st week you should have too many,Did you have any Bars too??If you have them you have to drink extra water?I think talk to your CDC or go to the cambridge thread here and theres loads of people there who will know?

    i'll do it- I had 7 tetras last week one a day. I thoguht that was ok to do? Im not on the bars yet.

    I checked for ketosis on day 3 and it was purple (it was my first toilet trip of the morning which was prob why it was so dark)

    Yes It is TOTM just now I started them on sunday I think. I didnt really think that would add that much to my body though seeing I started sunday?

    My CDC is great. She just said it could be the TOTM and not to worry too much. For a second though I thought the diet just wasnt working for me for some strange reason?

    I expect its TOTM
    also I know your ketosis was purple as it was 1st thing but check during the day as it should be a lightish pink if its purple your dehydrated.The tretras i think i read not to have to many but im not 100% sure on that one.
    Keep at it your doing great im sure you'll b e fime next week!

    Maybe it was totmWell I only got 2 tetras for this week, hopefully I will ahve a bigger loss next week.

    Don't worry about your small loss - things will improve. It is basically impossible not to lose weight doing this diet if you stick to it!! You will probably have a great loss next week so please don't let this dishearten you....

    Did you weigh at the same time of day as your first weigh in?

    Have read so many people on here saying that there TOTM has made a big difference and slowed their loss in a particular week.
    Are you measuring too? I bet anything you've lost inches.

    Hi Princess,

    As your CDC already pointed out and some of the guys here that your totm can make a difference to your weight and some have been known to hold 10lbs. of water retention that week.

    If you had cut down on carbs the week before your loss this week would of been fat as opposed to glycogen store emptying.

    2lbs. is a good loss and next week you will have even a better one and you have that to look forward to.

    And also so important to have a record of your measurements as KateF has said you probably lost a few inches this week already.

    it maybe water hun i lost 17! in my first week and put it all down to water!! as i had alot of retention in my legs

    Karen1972 yes it was the same time of day. Hoping it was just totm holding some water.

    katef yes my CDC is doing my measurements monthly, so hopefully will have lost an inch or so at the end of the month.

    mini thanks for that wow 10lb of water didnt realise it could hold as much as that!

    Hey you

    I'm a slow loser (think 3 lbs over 2 weeks :eek: ) but what you have to remember is it all adds up. Be pleased, cos that's 2 lbs closer to your goal, and you know it's gonna keep coming off! ;)
