flavoured vodka/low syn alcohol

#1
Does anyone know if the syns in smirnoff apple and smirnoff lime vary from regular vodka? Or any other kind of flavoured vodka actually. I just like to use as few syns as possible when at the pub but still enjoy my drinks and I find smirnoff apple is soooo much nicer than normal smirnoff.

Also, does anyone have any tips for drinking alcohol like low syn choices?

Found online that it has 69 calories per 1 oz ... which I then worked out to be 28ml. That would work out at about 3.5 syns I think, someone else may know more :)

okay I worked it out on the website after discovering that almost all flavoured vodkas are 69 calories per fl.oz compared to 64 calories for normal vodka. This puts a normal 25ml shot up to 3 syns for the flavoured vodka, but its actually a little below 3 as there is very little difference in calories between regular vodka and flavoured.

Anyway I'll count it as 3 compared to 2 1/2 for normal vodka - still not bad.

A quick Google will usually provide the answer when you dont have the nutritional info, you can then work out using the 1 syn = 20 cals rule as there will be no free food allowance.

Having said that - I've just tried to look it up for you and I really cant seem to find anywhere with the calorie information!

But it usually works.

Closest Ive found is Smirnoff Ice/Smirnoff Black at 176 calories, so 9 syns. Smirnoff Ice is also listed on the SW syns online database at 9 syns. I would hazard a guess that the cranberry juice drink is pretty similar so I'd go with that
