Oh and what are the bars like? Are they salty and dry like the LT ones? I even forgot about the porridge lol...alot more choice with CD apparently. Opinions greatly appreciated.

its my first week on CD. So far I have only had the shakes and one of the porridges.

TBH I wasnt hot on the apple and cinnamin porrige but then again I have never been a fan.
The shakes I have and like so far
butterscoth - its a hit
chocolate is a bit rich for me
chocolate orange ... mmmm
banana - its very banana and if you like banana stuff you will love it
strawberry - good
vanilla - good
forest fruits - good

Oh I also got this powder stuff you put into water to make it a bit more pleasant to drink ..sunshine orange I think its called. Its quite expensive BUT you only need a tiny little bit of it, (far less than the reccomended amount on the tub) it will last for weeks and weeks and weeks.

The bars are amazing , I like the soft ones the toffee one is a little like a fudge ( and chocolate covered !!!) , the orange one is lush and the choc and caramel are nice too I dont like the cranberry , but dont like the nasty little red berries anyway !! the peanut is nice but takes a lot of chewing .. but compared to LT flapjacks , they are food porn !!!]

Soups are nice ,most taste nice but are a little powdery so i dont tend to have them often . the mushroom is nicest in my opinion .

Shakes - i find the ready made ones very strong and have a funny after taste ( although have 1 choc one a week and freeze it into icecream ( not totally recommended but once a week as a treat is ok in my eyes ... )
I LOVE banana , strawberry , choc mint (OMG ) , vanilla ,
fruits of forest , toffee and walnut are nice
not keen on the choclate ( although makes nice mousse with the mix a mousse ) , tastes a little like cake mix, and butterscotch a but like feet .. ( the toffee and walnut actually tastes a lot like butterscotch angel delight .)
and the choclate orange one tasted like vomit to me !!!

I make my shakes in a smoothie maker , with 8 ice cubes and water .. and they taste just like McDonalds ... mmmm

Oh and porridge ... I hate normal porridge , but thought I would try and apple and cinnamon one , and 5 mins later was ringing my CDC to pick some more up !! its nice to have something proper to eat and chew and really filling ....

I also love the berry water flavouring .. I was really struggling with getting 2 litres down me but with the flavouring I can easily drink 3-4 :)

OMG... food porn?!?!?! LOL hilarious! And yet I'm excited!!! It got to the stage where I was only able to tolerate the chocolate shake! Can't wait to try these now. Still have a week of LT left though do you think i can combine them? xxx
I remember that stage totally , I am sure you would be ok combining them , although whether you will want to drink the LT ones once you have tryed the CD ones !!!! are you going to do soul source or a higher plan ? or you not decided yet ?

Totally agree - after doing LT, CD is like heaven on earth... the flavours are so much better..

I am on tetras only this time, with Mushroom soup in the evening - tetras fill me up the most, but cannot tolerate the banana and strawberry ones, so it's chocolate all the way for me..

The bars are all gorg as well - but the porridge - both flavours - made me heave !!

Hi - after 3 weeks on LT I've switched to CD today and have a range of flavours to try.
I was so bored on LT as only liked the choc and straw so hoping this keeps me ontrack!
I've found my CDC really helpful so far too.

I have all the bars, they're yummy :) I also have both Apple & Cinnamon Porridge and the Original porridge and both are lovely. I only have Chocolate Mint Shake though as it tastes sooo good!! Lol.

All i can say is HOLY HELL they're bloomin amazing!!!!! lol. Tried the toffee and walnut shake and oh my god it was awesome best thing i've tasted in so so so so long :) and tried the leek and potatoe soup and it was so great to have something savoury!!!!!!

Kate i may just love you forever for introducing me to these two amazing diets! I'm going to do the soul source for one week and then she wants me to add the 200kcal meal after that. She said i need a break from total food replacement cos of being on it more than 12 weeks.

Set another goal too got to get to 10 stone 6 now. Eeeeek lol

I am a convert too. LT really worked for me , however, I don't have loads to lose. I could only ever do strawb and choc. The cambridge diet shakes are loads tastier. The cappacino one is delish and choc mint. I tried both porrige, but heaved. It had a funny after taste. You have to try everything as one person's preference is never the same as someone elses.

Good luck , you have made a good decision.

lol I will definately be asking you! And thanks buddy. Gonna see if i can last a few more weeks before i move up the plans. Still feel like i have alot to lose. xxx
