I live in Dorset and whilst we had bluddy awful rain earlier on, now the sky is blue and it seems ok.

i really feel sorry for everyone who has suffered because of our very very wet summer. Its just not right.

In Wiltshire, crazy. Its weird coz "my guy" lives down south, but by the sea...no signs of flooding there. We live MILES AND MILES from sea, yet its flooding here. His whole street (my friends) has been evacuated, the worst thing is that he's currently on holiday! His brothers at home, they heard from him. Poor guy also had some really bad news whilst there too, bad holiday or what :(

This was the view from the front of our house earlier....
The brook had flooded across the main road cutting off access to the houses.

    Where's summer this year

That pic resembles most of our county.we spent 1 1/2 hrs & 4 different routes to find a bridge that wasn't flooded & get us all home today. can't sy I saw anyone with 4' of water but they were brushing & pumping flood water out all over the place & the water is mainly in the brooks & small rivers at present. It'll take a couple of days for it to get into the big rivers locally ( Teme,Severn & Avon) & the floods from last month haven't completely cleared from the city centre flood plains.

    scarey stuff!
