I just wondered if anyone had any tips on how to get my calorie consumption up without going over my fat totals.

I've started on Xenical today but began following the 5g/100g and 15g per meal rule a week ago to get myself used to it. I'm doing great on the fat front but not consuming enough calories. I only started using MFP today but have been eating similarly all week. Today I've consumed 39g of fat but only 1050 calories. My recommended is 1800 calories.

So, can anyone recommend food that will help get my calories up without being high in fat?

    Thank you!

Exante TS was using Xenical and eating low fat and low cal. Exante baby!!!
a bowl of cereals, depending on what they are can be low in the fat but can be around 200 cals, and you only need around 30grams, so a couple of handfulls.. bread, is around 90-100 cals for a standard slice, that with jam boosts the cals... there are other things too... if you wanted to go down the sweet route, you wouldn't need many marshmallows or a few haribo and use that as a treat, most sweets, the non chocolate variety are fat free..

I have a sweet tooth, so use meringues, ww cakes or a yogurt to boost cals. Oh or fruit, I'm loving strawberries with raspberries, covered with low fat fromage frais that I add vanilla essence and sweetener to, a lovely desert for around 100 cals.

cous cous (either plain which you can add herbs to, or the ainsley harriott one) are great for lunches. pad it out with cherry tomatoes, red pepper, red onion, cucumber, olives and maybe a wee bit of feta cheese, which isn't too bad fat wise, its really lovely xxx
