Freezing tips!

Hi people,

I have frozen berries and meals before but i never have frozen apples oranges bns leeks cabbage bananas and swede amongst others.

should i par cook the veg? is it ok to freeze apples and bananas just sliced?

does anyone have any tips?

When I freeze my banana's I peal them first, then just wrap in tin foil & pop them in the freezer.

I have never frozen any of the other things you mention though so can't help i'm afraid.

It depends on how you want it when it defrosts, if you want it raw then just chop it up and bung it in, if you just want to cook it a bit more, then blanche it and freeze it.

For your fruit, I would chop it up and freeze it xxx
