Asda Essentials

I am a usual Tesco shopper, however decided to pop to Asda after work tonight for a few bits and pieces (mainly fruit and veg) just for a change.

Does anyone have any Asda essentials that that I should get??

Already thought about looking for the Asda pitta bread but any other ideas much appreciated!!

ASDA chickpea Dahl in tins - free on EE and green and its STUNNING with rice or over a jacket potato!! Its normally in with the tinned curries, chillis etc etc.

Also mullerlights are on offer 5 for £1.00 at the moment and like I say to everyone......... go to the REDUCED bit. Its amazing what meat/fish they have that you can stock up the freezer with!

Have fun! xxx

Yep...thats exactly why I buy them...plus they are cheaper too! £1.?? in Asda and the mushrooms are less than a £
I've even started buying chopped frozen onions but thats more out of laziness!! ;)

The only thing I've had to add to my normal shopping are Frylight, Alpen Lights and FF yoghurts. Oh, and swapped bread from an 800g granary or wholemeal loaf to a 400g size of WW or Nimble.

However, I've cut out cakes and Dairy Milk and increased the amount of fruit.
