funny question about scales

all scales are different...count how many marks in between the stones...if there are 12 it is pound markings..if half that then it would be 2lb markings.
Does this help?

There are 14 pounds in a stone if that helps.

You will find though with cheap scales that they are very innaccurate to be careful.

My golden rule is that if you get on and off a set of scales three times and the result is the same then even if they aren't accurate they at least offer an accurate idea of weight loss i.e. they may say 1 stone out from the true weight but if it is always a stone out then the loss is accurate.
