I was wondering if these are allowed on the diet? I know full garlic cloves or puree aren't allowed and I don't like to have anything not recommended in the book, but the granules don't seem to suffer the same high carb/calorific content problems. I'm going to ask my CDC, but she's away right now so thought I'd ask here.
I have Schwartz garlic granules in my cupboard and thought they'd add a little something to the tomato soup. According to the nutritional info on the Schwartz site there'd be little to no carbs or calories in a pinch. A gram is 3.66 calories and 0.0746g of carbs. Fat's so tiny it's not worth mentioning.
