Get to slinky again and staying there ......

That's great, comfort is a better indicator than weight

It's been just a week reversing the Christmas gain train - 278.2lbs this am - so pleased to be back at over 50lbs lost. I am surprised it's happened so fast. Onwards and downwards.

Awesome result!!

Less good morning weigh in - I'm blaming the maltitol liquorice sweets I foolishly bought. Ticked up 2lbs overnight! So i won't be doing that again in a hurry.....

Down 0.2lbs on yesterday. 4.4lbs down for the week. Those maltitol sweets really impacted me. I was up 2lbs overnight on Sunday morning. I was also really hungry yesterday.

So today I am 270lbs 19st4lb, so 48.6lbs lost since start 22 March 2021: 3st6.6lb 15.25%.

I want to shed at least 51.4lbs this year to make the century. I can do this. One foot in front of the other. Higher protein low carb choices, some good fats. Limited baking and no alcohol.

Oh smashing, you''re heading in the right direction and the Liquorice was a learning experience, eh 😉. You've got your friends on here to cheer you along. Go girl!!!!!

Maltotol kicks me out of ketosis, well it did when I was keto. Hope you back in it soon 🥰

Well 2022 was a write off. I really don't know why I dropped off in January 2022. I regained more than 36 lbs.

Lots of excuses in the summer and autumn (bereavement - I lost my mum - and Mr AG's operations) followed by a chocolate eating winter but no excuse for not putting one foot in front of the other in January onwards. Wierdly I feel fatter now that I did when I was even heavier. I was offered a ridiulous online NHS support last summer (usual outcomes 3/4 stone lost) and in the winter a referral to tier 3 GP weight loss service but was too low to respond. I had waited over a year.

I'm recording my 2021 losses here and will start a new thread for 2023, and find a challenge to join.

2021 record:
Back again. Low Carb. Keto. High Protein. No alcohol. 16:8 or more.
