Getting a grip

Day 35

Feeling good. Great sleep. Slept in daughters bed. Fancied a change!

Got more exercises to do for Physio so need to do them 3 times a day. My bum cheeks are aching from the challenge. All those squats better be getting rid of my fat arse!

Got another appointment today with a guy who specialises in functional movements whatever that is. I'm desperate to sort my aches and pains out. I'll see what he has to say...

So, I plan on going to the gym this morning then head into town this afternoon for that appt. the classes at the gym this morning are run by a girl that I know, so ill be avoiding the classes. She is used to seeing me slim and fit :-/

Got an order on Friday so I'm eating all my favourites. Not tempted in any way and so far no headaches. Today might be the day :-/

TSing all the way till the weekend. Then ill just have to take each day as it comes till I can get back on the TSing train on Monday! Then it'll be TSing till 5 April. YEEHARRRRRRR!!! Love having no distractions in my diary. That will be a really good run where I can give it my all.

I actually got an invite to a friends 50th and my heart jumped for joy when I realised it was in June and not between now and April. How sad is that?!

Anyway have a good day folks. If ur feeling weak then keep going. Plough on through because good times are ahead, as well as feeling good and feeling proud of yourself :) x

Such a nice post TH, very motivational, you seem to be brimming with enthusiasm. And I loved that bit I quoted. Thanks for that. I've been so indecisive and all over the place in the last couple of weeks, it was just what I needed to hear.

5th April is a big date for me too, I'm going home to visit family then. Unfortunately, until then I do have quite a few events to go to but I don't want to focus on them. In total, it's 46 days until I'm off but in reality only 5 days when I might be tempted to go off plan. So surely I should still be able to make it a success :)

That's the trick... 46 days till u go home. 5 days off plan and 41 days on. Much better than 46 days off plan. Yesterday has gone. Today and tomorrow are what matters. You can still get some amazing losses between now and then. I'm hoping to lose another 1-1.5 stones by 5 April. You with me Bee?! You in? X

1.5st by 5th April would be heavenly, I'll happily take that.... I'd be teetering on the edge of the 13's woohoo :). As soon as I hit the 13's the scales are going away for 4/5 weeks, last time I did this successfully I struggled in the 13's so this time I'd like to bypass them..

I would love to lose 1.5 stone by then, to be perfectly realistic though, it's more likely to be 1 stone. My goal weight for then would be something like 13.5 because last time I weighed a couple of weeks back, I was still 14.4 and have since dithered and been on and off so it's quite likely I'm a bit more than 14.4 at the moment. Plus I don't lose fast as it is. Weigh in on 1 March will reveal the truth in all its hideousness :D and then will take it from there.

I am with you on your 5th April challenge as its my birthday on the 6th.... We can do it!!

This being my first week i am expecting a decent loss, so my challenge to do that won't start til next Monday when i hit week 2 :)

Hope your sister hasn't been affected by any of the flooding :-\

Day 36

Time is just passing so quickly and this feels so doable. I thought I'd struggle with being off work this week but its been ok.

Here's how and when Ive been eating this week:

1pm half a soup
5pm half a spaghetti bols, half choc orange bar (chopped up into tiny pieces) with a black coffee
7pm half a spaghetti bols, half choc orange bar (chopped up into tiny pieces) with a black coffee
8pm crisps with cracked black pepper, made with remaining half of soup

Trying to drink loads in between. Not feeling tempted at all really. Hope I feel this strong after the weekend.

Today should have been WI day but I decided to leave it till 12 March for two reasons:
1) I was off plan on sat and will be off again Fri, Sat, Sun and the gains from then would get me disheartened.
2) I should be in the 11s and I find that weight bracket so hard to move through so I'm not looking. Just checking periodically until I'm in the 10s which will be a wee while yet probably!

I also got TOTM on Monday so there's another good reason not to go near those scales!

I've got about 6-7 weeks till I go to support my sister who is running the Manchester marathon. We would usually run this together but I'm too fat, unfit and injured. We will be staying in a hotel and going to a pasta party where we will be meeting with runner friends who have never seen me so big. Fingers crossed I can lose a tonne of weight before then to minimise their shock!

Then in 8 weeks I have my friends wedding. Again there will be people there who have never met the big version of me! Hope they never have to.

I haven't seen OH since 2nd Jan. he's working away. He will be back for wedding probably on 11th April. Lost 2st so far, fingers crossed for another 1.5 by then!

Anyway, I digress! Today I will go to the gym. This afternoon I have X-rays on my hips and pelvis. Daughter is also back this afternoon, so we will have a wee catch up/girly night :)

Have a good one folks. Keep the faith. If you follow the right path, you'll get to where you want to go :) as I said yesterday on a diary - a negative mind will not produce a positive life...

Wow you have so many things to get slim for! I can see why you are motivated. Running any kind of marathon is an achievement, even if you're not doing it this year, well done for past years. Keep going on! x

Crisps -

1.Mix soup into a paste.
2. Using tip of teaspoon, spread mix in circular motion until about size if a crisp, onto microwave plate. Cover plate with mix.
3.Sprinkle with pepper if desired, maybe chilli flakes or garlic?
4. Blitz in microwave for about 2 mins. Keep watching. They will rise. Trick is to catch them before they get too dry.
5. Use knife to seperate crisps from plate. They should be a little bit moist. Turn over and blitz fir another 30 secs to make them dry out a bit more and get crispy.

I get about 10 crisps from half a soup sachet. It took me a few goes to get it right. They are lovely with a glass if sparkling water!

I've just done the 9 week exercise challenge and I actually feel like its making a difference. Ill get daughter to take pic later. Think I might be getting a waist! X

1.5 stone is completely doable! By the time you see hubby he will be bowled over by your transformation! I feel like you do lots of times, wanting to minimise the shock of people seeing the fat me, hate that. You've got ages yet, you'll be well into the 10s by then and the only shock they will get is how hot and confident you will look :D xx
