Getting close to goal, have to switch up to step 2?

Hi,

I'm 2/3 of the way through my weight loss on SS+ with just over 2 stone to go.
My consultant has said that I have to switch up to step 2 when I get to 25 BMI + 1 stone, in about 1 stone time.
I don't think that's correct though reading the book - I can do SS+ all the way to 25 BMI. Can anyone confirm?

I was told by my CDC I could do it until my BMI reach 25 xx

Bmi 25 + 1st is correct

If you're already on Cambridge you can do SS or SS+ until you reach BMI 25, then you have to move up to step 2.

Anyone new to Cambridge has to have a BMI of at least 25 plus 1 stone to START on SS or SS+.

So you can do SS or SS+ until you get to BMI 25, the plus one stone bit is only if you're just starting Cambridge (I think to stop people who don't have much weight to lose being on too low calories).

It seems a lot of consultants get confused between the two but the above is definitely right. If your consultant protests, ask her to ring head office or ring/email them yourself :)
