GI

Does anyone do their RC calories based on GI ??? Just wondering if it is possible to combine the two as GI is usually lots of nuts, seeds and wholemeal which usually means more calories :(

Interesting because I am now mixing up my own eating plan taking parts from RC, GI and Dukan! Mainly GI.

I use the RC portion pots if I have muesli or rice for instance, and I always have protein for breakfast as Dukan but they don't allow fruit so I look to GI for that! I don't have nuts because they are high fat.

Bit of a muddle. I say I don't calorie count but after years of controlling my weight doing that I do it automatically!!

i thought rosemary conley was low fat and low gi

Yes it is - quote from the Amazing Inch Loss Plan book -

The eating plan is based on low-fat, low-GI food which keep you feeling fuller longer with some high protein meal options and is combined with a daily exercise programme.

Thanks peeps will take a look at the GI Jeans (sounds like a country and western movie) and GI Hip and Thigh..... think I might even have the books - will dig around in the bookcase ;)
