gin and sparkling water

    Going out tonight so wanted to ask if I have a few of the above will it mess up my ketosis. Not been out for a month and really fancy a drinkie. Has anyone done this on LL.:confused::confused::confused: if so what was the aftermath like.....

    I wouldn't try alcohol with a VLCD at all. DANGEROUS side effects wouls lie ahead for you.

    I've never drunk while I've been doing this - worried about the health effects of it as I believe it's not good for you to drink when you're in ketosis.

    Also, I know me - I'd just want more and more and much much more :party0036:

    Cheers guys, I knew in my heart what the answer was going to be but didn't want to make the dicision myself. Will stay off the gins and stay on the sparkling water. THough i remember being in ketosis with atkins and having vodka and diet coke and was fine but then you get to eat a lot with atkins so that stands to reason, thanks once again for your advice I will make sure I heed to it.
