a great day food wise today!

scrambled eggs for breakfast with a peach afterwards,
lunch was a mcdonalds salad, i didnt have the croutons or the dressing- i knew i was going before hand so i mixed up an old vanilla essence bottle of chili flakes, soy, ginger and lemon juice and used that for dressing my salad i must have looked a bit mad taking a bottle from my bag and throwing it on my salad haha.
Dinner was sea bass, sw chips, samphire and a garlic and mushroom sauce made from quark.
I also had a glass of alpro almond chocolate milk. and a pack of onion rings, with a mullerlight. havent made up my sins yet but I think i'm at around 7 for the day.

Hi Anju! thanks a lot! it was really easy..theres packs of spice mix called asianfoodgourmet (all one word). i got the butter chicken variety. 1/4 of the pack of spice mix has 1 syn but i had double to make it two.

sautee a finely diced onion in some frylight. add a TON of frylight to it as this is usually when you would add the butter.
to that add a tin of chopped tomatoes and the spice mix. then add fat free fromage frais instead of cream (I also added some quark)
add sweetner and salt until you get the required flavour

Seperatly in a bowl marinate some chicken chunks in fat free yogurt, celery, cucumber and the following spices:
    cinnamon
    garlic
    chili
    cumin
I left it for about an hour, then remove from bowl and cook, once cooked add to the sauce- i also added some chilli powder and fresh coriander to mine but thats personal preference...enjoy!!!

Today I did a big slimming world shop delighted with it as it only came to 30 euro! I took a photo as I was so delighted haha. feeling super positive today and looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow.
This is the first time ever that it was my TOTM and I didnt eat my own weight in junk food, plus I have uni exams next week and I havent stress ate at all! :happy036:

I just had a coffee this morning as I didnt make time for breakfast.
Lunch was a bacon and pasta salad with olives (1 syn) and a poached egg on top it was yum! I had an apple pie mullerlight afterwards (1 syn)
Dinner will be a slimming word version of a spice bag, my favorite thing to get from the chinese! Hope you'r all having a great day!
(if anyone doesnt know a spice bag is a mix of spicy chips, crispy chicken, peppers and onion in a bag with lots of salt and chili-sounds gross but its lovely!
I also made lemon and lime mousse after with a coconut "cream" on top.

Hi Laura! make up a batch of your bog standard slimming world chips, but put some chili flakes, paprika and garlic powder on them.
get some chicken or turkey breast, dip in egg and then in some panko breadcrumbs and fry with plenty of fry light.
once thats done stir fry lots of strips of peppers and onions and add chili flakes, sweetner, garlic, papkika, soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
put the chips and breaded chicken into the wok with the veg and taste, if its not spicy enough tweak with the above spices until you get the desired taste.

there is a way of breading the chicken with cous cous to make it syn free but i like to use the panko, its only 3 syns you only need a very small amount. it really tastes like a take away! i also use some of the schwartz seasoning for chips but im not sure of the syns on that...enjoy!
