I'm only in week 5 of foundation just now, but I'm wondering how long your body takes to build up the glycogen stores once you start eating food again? I know you can gain 5-7lbs, but does it all go on in one go, or does it happen over a while?

    Thanks.

It depends on the individual, it can take up to 6 months for it to go back on apparently, although my LLC reckons mine just went straight back on.
Instead of losing on RTM I have stayed the same but my measurements have gone down, I have lost another inch off both my waist and hips.

I don't think you do know, to be honest! I think its just the half stone you lost in RTM goes back on by the end.....but I've lost more than half a stone in RTM, so maybe I'll finish lighter anyway??

oh ok. it was just with the llc saying it took her 6 mths - I just wondered how on earth you would know and I wondered what prompted her to say that. May be that was when she first saw a gain on the scales?

Yeah, possibly. I can't see how you can 'feel' it - unless maybe your muscles just feel a bit stronger?

Thanks all - interesting. I suppose as long as it's glycogen and not fat then it should be ok. I haven't noticed any muscle tiredness as yet - but to be fair, I've not been doing that much strenuous stuff! Keep hinting to myself that I should be exercising as well as doing LL - one of these days I will take the hint!
