Hello, i have not been on here for a while, but want to tell you how i am doing. I started Go Lower in March this year and have lost 44lb so far. I am a type 2 diabetic and untill 5 weeks ago i injected twice a day. Before i started i was on 52 units of insulin in the morning and 46 in the evening. As I lost more weight my insulin was reduced and reduced untill I no longer inject. I have also had my blood pressure tablets reduced by half. i have never felt so energetic and alive since I was in my early 30's!! To say I am happy is an understatement!! Hope you all doing well x:D

I am glad to hear a good diabetes story for a change :)

I cannot wait to be on lower insulin!

After 4 years of injecting in both legs for my type 1, i've started to get awful pains in them, so i've had to move the location (to my bum cheek, which is so awkward!)

Hopefully they'll find a cure one day :)

Well done with your weight loss! And keep up the good work!

That's amazing! Well done, you should be so proud :D

Not enough of a big deal is made about people with T2 being able to reverse / improve symptoms by dieting. Very very well done!
