1/2 syn gravy from the xmas book.
Giblets
1 onion, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
1 bay leaf
few sprigs parsley
1 level tbsp gravy powder
salt and pepper
1 tsp cranberry jelly
Soak giblets in water for 45 mins. Rinse, then simmer in 1 pint water, the onion, carrot and herbs for about 1 and 1/2 hours. Leave to cool.
Mix gravy granules with a little stock, add the remaining stock and bring to the boil. Season to taste and add the cranberry jelly.
