Gutted.

So me and OH went for a run last night. Only the 3rd time outside for me and 1st time for OH.

All went very well really and I felt very pleased with us both.

The planned route was 3.6 miles and we were done in 37 minutes. Brilliant!

Only I did have a feeling that that was a little too good to be true, so checked the route again on the genius google maps, and yes, hunch was correct. We were one roundabout short of the planned route. Poo.

So we did 2.9 miles in 37 minutes instead.

On the previous run (#2 outside) I had done 3.0 miles in 38 minutes (1st time outside was 3.0 miles in 42 minutes).

Last night would have been 3.0 miles in 38 mins 20 seconds. So marginally slower than previously.

Totally poopy.

Still happy that I can do that time, as 2 months ago I so couldn't have done. But still!

Good luck! You'll see an improvement in yoru ability so quickly.

I'm looking for a running buddy around here, as OH is too self-conscious and doesn't really want to do it.

I did feel really good last night, too good for it to have been an extra 0.7 of a mile if I'm honest!
