    Has anyone done the NHS sponsored 12 week gym course

    Just wondered intensity levels

    Im walking 2 hours a day now and gonna get the weights bench out soon as well in house

    Just wondered peoples experiences?

    Sorry I don't have any personal experience but surely any gym referral will include an indepth consultation with the instructor who will develop a programme based on your individual needs and capabilities.

    I did a similar sort of programme but it involved 12 weeks of healthy living classes along with it. You got a 12 week pass to the local council sports facilities. Other than an induction with the gym instructor on how to work the machines, you were pretty much left to your own devices.

    About 4 weeks in I got a giant sized depression hit and gave up. Such a waste. No-one ever bothered to chase me up either to see if I was ok.
