Had to share nom nom soup!

I've just had my first go in years at making soup and it's amazing!


  • 2 small carrots
  • 5 baby new potatoes
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 leek
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 cooking onion
  • a little tarragon
  • 1 clove elephant garlic (or 3 normal)
  • 5 mushrooms
sautee it all in a little frylight for 10 mins then add 800ml of good chicken stock and boil for 20 mins then blitz it - voilee yummy, creamy (thanks to pots and mushrooms i think) syn free soup. IT made a massive pan so i've stuck it in the fridge for dipping in to today and tommorow
 
What do you use as chicken stock? I usually have an oxo cube made up with boiling water. Do you use something different?
