Hair Loss AFTER Lipotrim!

I finished lipotrim just before easter and as far as hair loss is concerned I didn't really lose anymore than usual as I have long thick hair BUT now I am losing loads and loads of hair even though I had a good trim last week it's still coming out.
When I wash my hair it comes out in clumps and I only have to touch my head and lots of hair comes out. There's hair absolutely everywhere and it's driving me mad!

Will this stop happening? Help!

I cant really help as its not happened to me with the exception of once. One day I had a clump when I came out of the shower, but since then there have been no clumps, just a few loose hairs on my shoulders. The threads I remember reading before though was that it didnt last long. Fingers crossed that I dont lose any more as my hair is fine and thin.

I did LT for 3 months until Dec 2007 and my hair started falling out once I had finished. I have lots of fine hair and it is long and it was everywhere, my pillow would be covered and I wash it every day and loads came out. I was concerned but it all grew back and is fine again now.

Ooooh, taylor i haven't experienced this yet(!) ocassionally i have the odd few strands fall out but not clumps.

If it continues i think it may be worth seeking advice.

I lost hair throughout my time on LT but not since I finished. My hair was thick and needed washing every other day because it was very greasy, now it is fine and frizzy - not helped by colouring it while on LT - and I wash it much less often now - every 4 days - and use different shampoos now.

It should calm down soon. Most people lose after stopping LT coz new hair is growing pushing the old out - the low calories on a VLCD means the body stops producing new hair coz there isn't the calories to do it (I think this is the official line! Not very medical me!!!!!)

Well done on getting to target.

apparently its exactly the same with hair loss whilst pregnant or breastfeeding and its all down to hormones once your hormones have got to the right levels they feel happy at your hair will grow back i had such a terrible hair loss i started going bald at the sides of my hair my avatar picture was just before i started losing me hair it is alot thinner now but as grown back in the places that were bald and i havent lost anymore since it grows back so quick and thicker just dont do anything to upset the balance on your scalp like bleaching or using a hair colour with amonenia in this was what i was told by a hair and scalp speacialist, and just wait for it to go back to normal which it certainly will xxx

EEEEEEK! Don't tell me that!!! I have very fine, thin hair that I use hair lightener once every 5-6 weeks on the roots.....I really can't afford to lose any and I couldn't bear my roots showing either...OMG! I knew there MUST be a downside somewhere..........

I have my hair coloured and continued to do so. There's no way I'm giving that up!!!

My hair was terribly thin at the end of my LT journey (and i have fine hair anyway),Day one of refeed I took a hair, skin and nails supplement and have tried to remember to take one daily since and my hair was back to normal within about a week! x
