You need to check the contents of the meat. Salami especially is usually high in fat content (well i find this anyhow) Ideally you want 100% chicken and 100% pork etc. A lof of pre-packed meats are not 100% meat and often mixed with other ingredients. The ingredients list will usually state for example 98% Chicken. The more the better. Always go for leaner options and those with 90-100% meat. I have yet to find Salami slices that have a low fat content. Hope this helps.
