Have You Got Any Planned Days Off?

I've been completing my diary with my nights out for the next few months. I don't really want to go off TS plan, but I will probably have to. I've got:-

24th Feb - my birthday. Night out on town with mates
3rd March - my birthday night out with another group of mates - Turkish restaurant
10th March - my birthday night out on town with another group of mates
6th April - Good Friday and I AM having fish and chips
22nd April - mates birthday - Turkish restaurant
26th April - mates 'hen' do from work - Indian restaurant
4th May - sister's birthday. Night out on town with mates
June - mates birthday. Night out on town with mates
June - same mate always has a house party
21st June - Bruce Springsteen
30th June - Mrs. Brown's Boys

I am going to have to be soooooooo careful here. Just planning in advance :D
 
I have plenty of nights out planned over the next few months but I wont be coming off plan for any of them.
Giving up food on nights out for just a few months is a small price to pay for getting slim.

I'm not having a go at you (or anyone else) but I dont get why people have to come off plan to eat on nights out, why not just tell friends that you need to stick to the diet or you'll be doing it forever!
The odd night fair enough but you've got alot of nights out planned and you'll be in and out of ketosis which isn't going to help you at all.
 
There are 3 nights out where I am going to a restaurant for food. One occassion is Good Friday and I am having fish and chips. The rest of the days I haven't even mentioned food. I have been TS 100% for 40 days. One of the days I 'lapsed' was on a night out which had been planned for ages. I had grilled fish and salad. I went out on Saturday and drank water.

I did say in my thread I was having to be sooooo careful and was planning in advance, which is the key for me. If I am prepared I won't cheat. I won't be in and out of ketosis but don't intend to stop my life either.
 
The Turkish restaurant should be ok, the one near me is known for lean flame grilled meats and salads, might not actually turn out to be too naughty x
 
Louiser, its lovely. I stick to grilled fish and salad though but i enjoy that just as much as a tylical Turkish dish. The Indian is a worry though but i cant get out of it unfortunately:(
 
At the Indian you could have a chicken tikka skewer type starter but have it as a main course. Maybe that would be ok?
 
I had one meal planned for this sunday coming up, I will be finshed 7 weeks TS on Friday but Ive decided I am not going to go to the meal, just going to meet them all after for a drink (water for me).
 
Food replacement diets are so unsociable, I feel your pain! Just try and be as good as you can when your there, I know losing the weight is important, but so is having a life! I'm sure you will do fine x

I dont have anything planned but I do have a deadline of 24th March to lose as much as possible, as we are going to Mexico on a 2 week 5* super all inclusive! (I am trying to do as much damage control as possible before we go!) It's the holiday of a lifetime, so I'm going to make the most out of it while I am there, then get back on the scales and rectify any damage done when I get back.
 
Hey Mia... It's ok going out we need to let our hair down from time to time... But I guess sensible choices is the important one on this plan Hun... We are going out this Friday night.. To nandos and I'll just be having my normal packs and a chicken salad.. But saying that some restaurants may not have healthier options but we just need to have something which is the least damaging... Something which I need to learn to do ;-) x
 
Thanks girls. Carly 6 years ago I went to Mexico on a 5* 24 hour All Inclusive for 2 weeks. I was at my slimmest then and went to the gym every day I was there. The food was to die for but I limited myself to 1 sweet per week and lived off prawns lol. I only put 2lb on the whole holiday. I'd never do that again though - what a waste. You go and enjoy yourself. You can always lose your weight when you come back. Life is for living I say :D
 
I dont have 'days off' as in going mental but like you Mia I switch to WS days to cope with the diet and a social life.

My fave is when we go out for an Indian, I have Chicken Tikka Capsilla (basically chicken cooked in a tandor with spices, then some green peppers, onion and green chilli fried up with it to serve - no sauce) with Salad and some of the Mint dressing, then as a side a bit of Mushroom Bahjee, all low in carbs and all yummy, never knocks me out of Ketosis and its what I used to have when doing Atkins.
Going out for an Indian on the 13th - I am very much looking forward to it.
I also make sure I have one WS day a week and have my roast on a Sunday, meat and Veg, all fine, still in Ketosis and means I can still sit at a table with all my family and enjoy the social aspect as well as the food.

I know TS is the best way to loose weight but I actually find when I am totally TS my weight STS then when I have my WS day I drop a couple of pounds, I suppose its another one of those "if it works for you"

I have a goal to, I am also going on a 5* all inclusive luxsury holiday to Mexico at the end of April and desperately want to be in the 9's for that!

I the only other day off I have planned is on the 10th of April for my anniversary.

I think as long as we make the days we socialise WS days there is nothing wrong with it AT ALL. as technically its not cheating, I chose to think I am splitting my food week up into 1 day here and there.

OMG that's why I am trying to shift this weight as we are going in June for 2 weeks for our wedding anniversary. Be interesting to see where everyone is going - it could turn into trip advisor on here lol :D
 
Hi we looked at that one as we are going to the Riviera Maya, but are going to the Grand Palladium resort and spa and like you I cannot wait :0)
 
We are going to excellence Rivera cancun, we went there on honeymoon and can't wait to go back, all the hotels look lovely over there x
 
I've got a meal on the 10th march, TGI Fridays too!!! This will be when I have completed 1 month. I am excited about it because my bf family won't have seen me since I started :)
 
I stayed in Cancun at the Grand Real Resort. Beautiful :)
