    My names Kayla,
I' a 26 year old postgraduate student on work placements.
I was here a while ago but decided to make a new start! :D
I have about 97lbs to lose. I've lost 43lbs already, I have no idea how! It was a mixture of different things and took forever. I've come back on here to try and decide which route to take now.
I've tried SW, WW, Slim-fast, orlistat, alternate day diet, from pig to twig book, and I had a time when I wasn't working and I was going to the gym two hours a day, I didn't lose an ounce. SW was my most successful. I just don't know what to do now.
I was thinking SW green days. However, I have a holiday in August and I'd like to lose a bit for that maybe a stone or two which I was thinking about doing Slim-fast for (or my take on it) then going to SW green days after.

I hope I meet lots of people on here that can be my cheerleaders :party0011: and we can support each other to be a healthier lot! We've all got the same goal at the end and I hope you'll help me reach it!

P.S I don't actually want to be a pornstar, but it had a nice ring to it. :p

How are you finding it? That's a great loss! you're so close to your club 10. Do you have a diary I can subscribe to?

Yeah Coleys food diet cos i was ditsy and put diet instead of diary lol.

Yeah im getting a bit bored but find it easy. Trying to spice up my meals and snacks as tge same old is boring me. Trying some new stuff this week in the hope i fall in love and live of whatever i like lol. Yeah few lb away from Club 10. Had a maintain this week so hoping for a good loss on Thursday.

Have you decided what route to take?? I think out of all i have tried SW has been the easiest and ive lost most weight doing SW too. Ive done them all lol x

oh no! lol that's something I would do!

I was thinking of doing Slim-Fast until my holiday in August and then doing Slimming World.
I'd probably join online rather than groups as my work days vary from week to week. In the past slimming world has definitely been the most successful for me.
I tried to do it on my own at home but found it hard without the online/group support.
I do remember getting a bit sick of pasta, and beans on toast lol

I wouldn't suggest slim fast, it's full of sugar. You can use full meal replacements with added food for quick results like.

    Good luck.

Slim Fast worked for me for about 3 weeks then the weight stopped coming off and I was always hungry so I have chosen never to go with a replacement meal diet. Weight Watchers I found too complicated and I could never be bothered to point everything.
Slimming world is fairly simple and in 2 months you could easily acheive a good 1st plus loss.
I've messed about alot so its taken me 12 weeks to get to where I am but had I stuck to plan and stopped messing about I would be a lot slimmer now LOL
I like feeling like I am not deprived of food. I eat as I please pretty much and just change how I prepare or cook.

I think I'm going to go straight for Slimming World, I have Friday off and I'm paid and there's a group on at 9am. It's a sign! but the consultant does different days and times so I might get away with fitting groups around work.
Slimming worlds the only one that's consistently worked for me and it taught me to cook way back in the day.
I'm at the end of my tether, I tried slim-fast up till a wedding i went to and didn't lose an ounce, and I was starving! I think I need to groups to have someone to really talk to about not losing weight, especially if I don't lose on SW which is unlikely but just my luck

Ahh yes I find the group support so much more beneficial I have tried it from home and it just did not work.I had nobody to explain myself too (If that makes sense) only me and a set of scales each week so if i gained then nobody but me would know. At group I dont want to turn up and show a gain so I am more determined not to gain.
I prefer the support and it helps that every week I want to be slimmer of the week (Managed it 1 week but wasnt given slimmer of the week was gutted lost the same as slimmer of the week but they didnt give me a shiney!) lol
Having an aim each week has really worked for me. And yes I have faffed about and made some bad choices but had i not joined I would likely be 16lb bigger than I was when i started instead I am 16lb lighter.

If you really really stick to plan then yes it is more than do able.

Ive lost 16lb in 12 weeks BUT I have done alot of messing about. Weeks where I ate pap. Easter week, All the bank holidays etc plus school holidays and kids Bdays have hindered my weight loss. If you stick to plan 100% you can easily acheive 24lb

2lb a week is an easy goal :)

I've changed my name, I think the previous one may cause people to judge although it was a bit jokey lol

Disappointing day, I realized I'm paid next Friday not this Friday, so I'm digging my old slimming world books out, making a list of what I can't live without to know syn values using the awesome forums on here, and coming up with meal plans so I've done my homework ready to get cracking! I feel a little bit excited and very determined about this.
