About me.
I'm 42,married and big !!.I have been green with envy ever since I saw Fern Britton loose all that weight, so I booked an appointment to see my docs about having a band fitted.
-Guess what ? I chickened out !!I knew he would laugh at me, so instead I joined Slimming world. on the same day !!
All I could visualise was the Fat Fighters of Little Britain !!.:ashamed0005:
I was amazed at what I was allowed to eat - so one week on I went to weigh in and had lost .........
7lb :D:D OMG I'm well impressed
But, everyone is saying -'dont expect to lose that every week'
I'm not , but 4/5 lbs a week is ok .
Anything off will be good- I only want one chin -not 2 !!!

Over half way to target
Wow - great first week. You're right, you probably won't get this each week, or even 4-5lbs but don't forget, healthy WL is considered to be 1-2lbs per week and that's the sort of loss that is most likely to stay off once you reach target.
SW is a really good plan - I love it that I can eat a lot, being hungry is a big barrier to weight loss and where most people fail.
