Hello - I'm new

Hi All

Ok a bit about me - erm I'm 38 (ykies!) Married, have 2 small children and one old dog!

In Sept 2005 to Feb 2006 I was on the Lighterlife diet and managed to lose 4 stone - YAY! :D But the past few months I haven't been watching what I ate and have put on 2 stone :mad: so decided I ought to do something now!

Was told about CD and thought I'd give it a go as I know it works. I started last week and was doing 790 but have to admit that I didn't stick to it rigidly (just how do you measure out 2 tablespoons of lettuce leaves?). First weigh in was yesterday and I've lost 3lb - not great but not bad either. On to add a meal this week.

To be honest I'm looking forward to just getting onto sole source and getting to when I can have the bars - the bars are a god send for me when I'm rushing around backwards and forwards with the kids to pre-school, swimming, ballet etc etc.

Welcome to mini mins congrats on your previous weight loss you know you can do it so 2 stone should be no probs. Is being 38 that bad (me 38 in july).

Hi Me - thanks for the welcome. Not sure what its like being 38 as only just 'celebrated' my birthday two weeks ago! Just can't get it in my head that I'm nearly 40 - that's like grown up! Still feel (or should that say act) like a teenager!

I think you did well to lose 3lbs last week - any loss is a loss remember :D

On the subject of the bars, be careful not to have more than 1 or 2 a week as they may slow your losses right down :(
