Hello! New to Exante!!

Hello,

On the 06/07/11 i will be starting the exante programme in an attempt to lose around 3 stone.

My dads been on LL and has lost over 5 stone but i felt the exante diet would be a much more cost effective way to lose the weight as i don't drive and wouldn't be able to get to the meetings anyway!! :p!!

I am currently 184lbs and wish to get down to 140lbs. As i am only 22 i feel like im cheating slightly by going on a VLCD but after reading reviews i feel its gonna be the only way i can do it. I've tried conventional dieting but im not strict enough on myself.

Im going to start out with 2 weeks on exante and then unfortunatly i will be having a week break due to going away to visit my partners family. However, after im back im going to do another 4 weeks and see where it takes me.

I hope that by writing a diary i will be able to keep track of motivation and not stray. Also it would be lovely to get advice and support from experienced VLCD and Exante members.

Heres to being on the way!! Wish me luck!! :D

I've decided to start Exante a day early. The suspense was killing me and i didnt realise how much i wanted to lose weight until the opportunity came.

I've got a chart on my wall with all the day numbers which im going to tick off each day and record my weight loss per week. The idea came from my dad and it seemed to keep him going, anything that will help!!

Ill post you all how it goes tomorrow - hopefully a happy post!!

Just had my first shake! It was chocolate - apparently!! It didn't taste very nice but it was palatable!! I added coffee to it in the end which made it a smidgen better!!

Was really filling though which is a good thing!! Bring on my lunchtime soup! :D!

Try adding peppermint tea to the chocolate shake and having it hot. It's like a mint hot chocolate and is yummy

I can't drink the choc shake plain

Ill try that it sounds yummy. Any other techniques i could try? Im already bored of the bland tastes and its only day 2 lol!!


Day 2 didnt start so well had a headache and felt ill but i think it was mainly the heat overnight!! I rang in sick for work anyway as i didnt want to make it worse.

However, i have had my vanilla milkshake with coffee in it (Vanilla Latte :D) and i feel completely fine!!

Im hoping for another 100% day!! :D

Ps. Ive also had my thai chicken soup and definatly recomend it! Was really tasty!! :D!

Good day! 100% Again!!

Iv been told that day three is the worst day and im going to be on my feet all day!!

Anyone else experienced badness on day 3??!

Anyhow - hopefully kertosis soon! :D!!

Day 3 is tough i think.. but so long as you keep focussed theres no reason why it should be any harder, and then by day 4 you'll be sailing!

Thank you guys!!

Had the strawberry milkshake today - really didn't like it but it went down alot easier!!

Im not feeling too bad but it is only 12:00!! I think i may be approaching kertosis!! lol!! I think im getting that 'energy' that people have been talking about!!

Good luck sue for day 1!

As soon as you get past the wierd taste of the packs it gets wierdly enjoyable! I think its the fact that your finally taken a solution that will work!!

Another 100% day! I did crave food and really wanted what my boyfriend wanted but i got over it!!

Specially now i found out on here that you can drink Dr Pepper zero due to it not having certain acids in it! Thats really helped me out today!!

Back to work tomo tho so it will be interesting to see how i get on and i hope i dont fall into temptation!! Wish me luck!!

Can't wait to weigh myself on tuesday morning to see what the first weeks loss is :D!

Day 5!! At work and everyone is eating bacon rolls for breakfast! I stayed strong tho and didn't eat anything!! Im getting better at the whole 'will-power' thing!!

Heres to day 5 being 100%!! I thought day 3/4 was suppose to be the worst days but i've felt fine. I can't be in kertosis yet tho because im still hungry. Bought some kertosis sticks tho so might try that out later and see.

I'm on Day 5 today too. :) Earlier I think you mentioned you're 22? Well I'm only 20 so don't have any worries about being younger and doing this diet.

Looks like you're doing really well. What do you think of the soups? I didn't order them this time but I think I might for next time.

Keep at it, I bet you can't wait to hop on the scales and see the weight coming off! :D

Yea im 22!! I think whatever works for you!!

I prefer the soups to the shakes! The only one i dont like is the tomato and basil it tastes a bit plain!!

Yea cant wait to get on the scales! I bet your the same tho!! hehe! :D!

Heres to jumping on the scales on tuesday morning!!

Day 6!!

Survived again despite going to a bbq where there was also cake and chocolate!!! Managed to stay 100%!!

Got smelly breathe now...kertosis it is!! Didnt drink as much water as i should of today but felt ok!!

Hows everyone finding it??!
