    im soooo glad ive found you guys , im nearly at the end of week two of my lighter life and im reall pleased to have found this site to motivate me and help me through the tough times im sure ill get along the way

    Well done 2 u for getting through to the end of week 2 on LL the hardest part is behind u now as u will be in ketosis fully.
    There are many peeps here on the site who have had some amazing weight losses on LL and carried on to maintain after.

    I'm on day 60 with LL and I fully recommend you to stick it out I feel great!

    I'm quite new to minimins, but people here are lovely and helpful and friendly and I've had some great laughs here too.

    Good luck with the weeks ahead.

    week 2 weigh in

    hi every one , thanks for your lovely votes of cofidence and support , weigh in last night and ive lost a further 3 lb, i hoilb be really pleased thats 11.5 in 2 weeks so why am i dissapointed ???? and somewhat envious of the lady in my group thats lost 17lb in the same 2 weeks (!!! oh my god !! i have lb envy !!) the shame!!!:eek:
    am i the only one to feel this ?? help

    Welcome to the forum.. this place is well cool, inspirational, motivational and damn addictive!!!

    Good luck on ur diet.. I started on LL.. did my first two weeks with them but switched to CD because it suited my circumstances better. Think lb envy is natural lol... u have the best bit to look forward to now.. the first two weeks are the worst and after that it seems to become a strange kind of habit

    I'm glad you found the boards too! No way could I have got this far without them!

    Try not to compare yourself to others as we are all different and will lose at different speeds. Don't weigh yourself mid week.....trust the diet and you LighterLife Counsellor and you'll get there in the end.

    I started Foundation as the heaviest in the group and I didn't have the biggest losses. But I stuck to this 100% where others wandered off the straight and narrow and the old hare and tortoise story sprang to mind.

    Keep plodding on and you'll be a winner! :D

    You can't compare at all!

    This a personal journey and we all progress at different rates, the important bit is getting where you want to be.

    The diet really works and we can have no control over the speed of loss. All we can control is sticking to the plan, and then you will know that however much you have lost in any one week is the most you could possibly have lost.

    Definately far more than you could lose anywhere else thats for sure!

    well done you are doing really well!

    wow ,
    thanks to you all for youre messages of support :) they have really cheered me up , although i must say that today i feel great ,(although i know the shaky days are by no means a thing of the past)
    i am actually very happy with my progress as
    1, i have never imagined loosing so much weight in just 2 weeks
    2, i feel this is something i can actually stick to long term, i dont think i have EVER fully stuck to any diet before let alone for 2 weeks and counting :)
    and finally
    3 , reading youre help and support messages and past posts , i now realise that your right and we are all on our own journey with different paths to follow at different paces and you know what , i think im ok with that because this is my time to shine and prove to me that i can do this .
    but as easy as it is most days to resist food Lb envy is an awefull big green monster ill have to watch out for !!!!:eek:

    Talking of envy - I actually feel envious you have started this diet already. Mad isn't it? I'm going to start as soon after Christmas as I can but I didn't trust myself to start before....I've got a number of business functions and I just couldn't face sitting down to an all expenses dinner with clients and sipping on mineral water. But now I've made the decision I really want to start.

    I'll be joing you soon - keep it up.

    I'm on about day 57 now and I am hoping my next WI will take me to just short of 3 stones lost!

    At first I still had lots of food cravings and struggled not to eat (even though I wasn't hungry).. but this has become more and more rare and these days LL feels like the normal way for me to be!

    And the clothes dropping sizes, weight loss and feeling great about myself are SO worth it!

    Good luck on your journey. You're going to love it!

    Sukie, don`t think about what others are losing, believe me, the weight loss fluctuates. I slowed down for quite a few weeks and then speeded up and vice versa with others in my group. LL is so worth it, I`ve lost 4 stone all but a pound and feel great. Good luck.

    I lost 5 lbs tonight! I am in week 10, and have had some really slow weeks, one week I lost 1lb, two weeks I lost 2.

    there seems no rhyme or reason....

    hi every one ,
    well i had my wk 3 weigh in today and ive lost another 6.2 lb so im now up to 17.7 lb off , how cool is that , im soooo hapy , i cant beleive how amazing this programme is , im feeling great, looking good (well better every day :0)) and most off all i know im coming out of the other end a success this time , i can feel it !!! wish m luck for week 4 !!!:D

    You also had a very good week...5lbs. is mighty in a week!!!

    I do have major slow weeks as well and sometimes don't even shift anything and it can be very frustrating to say the least.

    I think I have finally got to the stage where I am happy if my weight does not go up and I do well to stick with my diet...
