Hello all,

I'm starting slimming world today and am 19 weeks pregnant. I have put on 13lbs so far :( hence me starting SW :) as I was well overweight before I became pregnant. I'm a stay at home mum/ student.....so I should have no excuses not to be able to prepare good meals! :D

I'm sure I'll be on here quite a bit to get into the swing of things, and advice.

My goal really is just to maintain....but if I lose it will be a big bonus!!! :)

Tonight I'm having chicken, lemon, garlic and tarragon casserole....should be yummy!

I got the recipe from a SW mag from ages ago that I found in my kitchen draw. I will pull it out now and write the recipe out for you.

It's from the jan/feb issue....09!

here it is....

2lbs skinless and boneless chicken thighs
2 onions
2 large carrots
7oz green beans
1 lemon
fry light
1 bulb of garlic
710ml stock from chicken bovril
1 tbsp chicken bovril

cut the chicken into chunks, chop onions and carrots and half the green beans.
spray non-stick casserole dish with fry light....and brown the chicken pieces.
add everything but green beans and lemon and cook gently for 25 mins
then add beans and lemon and cook for 1 hour.
sprinkle with tarragon.

Or if your like me use chicken breast for less hassle and stick it all in the slow cooker at the same time! : )
