Yep, I’m with you on the pizzas. So much potential, and yet…

the big question is if you resisted your daughter’s pizza and she had a good evening sticking to your traditions. xx
I did. I was angelic!! She even left a few bits and I didn't nibble. We watched Matilda and was lovely to snuggle up with her on plan but still making her happy

Weekend sum up....
Tired! So very tired. Only bonus is when napping I can't be eating.

Sat packs: Vanilla with coffee, coconut (thinking might make a fab ice cream!) And then the layred raspberry and choc bar. Had a weird texture.... wondering if it's because it was the vegan version 🤔

Sun packs: Vanilla with coffee, choc orange layered bar (Was pleasantly surprised by this bar. Orange layer is quite jaffa like). Had a regular meal as my mum went into bossy mode and insisted I ate. Negotiated scrambled eggs so I wouldn't damage my efforts so far.

Couldnt face my breakfast before church, my tummy was a bit giddy. Didn't get a chance to speak to 'the guy' which was a shame... It was nice to admire from a distance. 😉

The start of the 3rd week went brilliantly (even if I do say so myself) with the scales registering a 5lb loss. 5 whole pounds! To lose the 1st stone was a big boost.

Breakfast: Vanilla and coffee
Lunch: slept through...oops
Dinner: choc fudge bar

I've had a poorly girl since Wed night. Covered in a rash and out of sorts. Weren't sure if a viral infection or chicken pox but looking like the latter now.

No church for us this wknd!

How has your wk been?

Well.... things have gone a bit awry. Been out of routine with having the little one poorly. Been trying to juggle working from home with mum duties etc and let's just say the diet ball didn't stay where it should have.

I didn't show a loss on Monday when I weighed but no gain either. Every morning I've had the desire to stick to plan but invariably by lunchtime I've gone rogue. Nibble of this or that whilst making madam her lunch or 101 snacks she neeeedddsss throughout the day.

Really hoping I can get my act together soon before I take any steps backwards

You will do it’s tough when you have a poorly kid as you don’t get a minute to have a drink yet alone eat so it is a bit grab what you can!

Ok so... time to really get a grip and get back on track.

Sunday we had belated birthday celebrations for my mum as my little one was on the mend and fit to socialise again.

I think once I knew this was going to happen I took full advantage of knowing I would chuck myself out of ketosis on Sunday and enjoyed a relaxed Sat.

I felt so crap going to bed on Sunday night but I was quite relieved as I wasnt getting away with indulging. Monday morning was equally as miserable.

Not 100% but better than I'd been..
Vanilla and coffee for breakfast
Exante Snack shot when I was struggling at work
Berries or cherry shake mid avo
Did make an omelette when I was cooking my girls dinner but not stressing about that. It was a 'better' option than what I could have had
Maple and pecan flapjack

Today...
Vanilla and coffee for brekkie
Chocco balls late avo
Yet to decide on final product

My mind is wandering...

HOWEVER.... this morning I got the call I've been waiting for since Dec.. my consultation with the surgeon has been rescheduled. I will be seeing him on 9th March.

I've got a month to lose as much as poss to give him a good impression and hopefully dissuade him from delaying surgery due to my weight

Whoop whoop.
After a fortnight with nothing lost, except for my motivation, I've recorded a 5lb loss this week.

Thankful that I'd not gained anything but it's really brought home how easily I can self sabotage!
