Hello :)

Hiya! Making an effot to move my backside! :asskick:Took one of the dogs out for a long walk and I'm pleased to say that we are both knackerd :chores016: gonna try and do that every evening if the rain stays off. We have had such heavy showers here so just praying that I wouldn't get fought in one! I have a lab who is afraid of puddles!!! :crazy:

Hope you had a pleasing result today Milky and a fantastic shopping trip Issy? It's just a different experience going round the shops in France isn't it? X
 
Well done on the long walk, I really struggle to get the energy for proper exercise, I like the idea, cut when its time to leave I find excuses not to!

Lost 4.5lb this week so looks like the 4lb gain was just water weight/body fluctuations, good good!

I don't feel like I lost 4.5, I just feel last week was wrong so I'm even! Lol I'm aiming for 2lb next Monday which will get me my club 10...then I shall be dancing around and jumping for joy!

Saying that I'm just about to eat icecream! Hee hee x x

Got a couple of glass pendants & a necklace on the Market.Went up to town & got two lovely one portion size casserole dishes with lids & some miniture furniture for my aunt who collects dolls houses.Also stocked up on some of my mega expensive migraine medication which I had genuinely forgot to bring.It's EUR56 for 6tabs in Ireland,EUR25 for 12 here.

I usually go on a day trip to Nantes & that's where the "big" shop is done.I love Decathlon the sports shop,we do alot of shopping there.Love the supermarkets,we'll get wine & cremant,have daughters communion coming up & we'll stock up for the celebration.Inlaws have a people carrier that they pack to the rafters to take home all our shopping.

What's your favourite French purchases Sijack??

Off to the beach now,get a sandcastle done before lunch :)

now you got me thinking! the one thing that I always get is something called saucisse seche you have probably heard of this it's like a tough salami which is really nice with any french cheese. Also I like to stock up on skin care product which are more expensive in the UK. running low on embryolisse which is a fantastic moisturizer and bioderma makeup remover. Not forgetting the wine of course! :party0036: and pastis ;) well if you want some help with that sandcastle let me know! I'm really good at the finishing touches! :D enjoy your day mon amie xx

Yeah my hubby loves the saucisse,not my cuppa tea.Snap on the beauty products,that'll be in the "big" shop where I can get bogof offers in the larger pharmacies,I get the same products as you,they're not available in Ireland.Fruit & veg is so flavoursome here,which is helping the diet.
 
how are you finding sticking to the diet? That's the one thing that really worries me when I go away! I love french cheese and my god the french bread is just too amazing xx

Well I'm having fruit for breakfast,gonna have croissants once over the weekend,I have the bread at either lunch or dinner,not both,I sent over my own salad dressings.I have abit of cheese still,odd glass of wine.I'm not being strict & being quite active,walking everywhere.At nite when we go out with the children I have a crepe or waffle with nutella or an ice-cream.I'm hoping for a maintain or slight gain.

Sure you'll have the dogs with you,they'll keep you active :)
 
Just got in from another walk with Oscar image.jpg he's doing really well but mum is flagging a bit :D won't be taking him out tomorrow as the boys are both getting vaccinated all ready for their hols! Got a lamb shank in the oven thought I'd have a red day today for a change ;) how's everyone doing this evening? Xx

OMG what a beautiful dog,I love labs.Gearing up for the hols,do they travel well Sijack ??

Never tried red days,what would you typically have on one??
 
Thanks Issy he's only 2 Dylan the black lab is 5 image.jpg he's been to France before and was great! Oscar's first time so will be stopping quite a few times throughout the journey I expect x they both have such a lovely temperament we're very lucky. ;)

A red day is really free meat/fish and veg apart from potato (that doesn't include sweet potato that's free) and no peas or sweet corn : no carbs like pasta and rice it allows the same amount of Hexa & b as on a green day. Trying to shake up my system x ;)

Kids loved the pix,mad for animals :)

I must try red days when I get back to mix it up abit.I've done green days,love the extra Hex's,spend on bread & cheese.
