Am half way through my 7th week and am finding it harder every day...am loving the results and am drinking water but the simple every day contact with food...shopping for it for my children...cooking it...are becoming more and more difficult to resist.
I have not let one cheat happen all the way through this and have constantly tried to keep seeing this as a positive thing but I am struggling now as it is beginning to feel like deprivation. Helppppppppp

Thanks dena I was aiming to refeed from December 6th which would be another 5 weeks from Saturday.
...am thinking of going to visit a CD counsellor to see what that would be like...I don't want to stop totally but feel so in need of a change I have no idea how people have done this for over 12 weeks.
I completely understand I was feeling the same way last week but seem to have gotten a second wind this week and seem motivated again, I think it is the lack of variety but we only have 5 weeks left. I don't want to change something that is working for me as this is the only diet that has ever worked so well, but it wont hurt talking to a CD counsellor you may find that it suits you better I know a few have changed over. I think there is one that you can eat on but not sure what its called xx
I wish i could offer you advice! I'm not there (week 7) yet, so probably have this all to come!
I did have a bad day this week, ended up eating some mini-sausages in my daughters B'day, but didn't feel any fuller than if i'd had a shake, nor more satisfied. In fact just guilty.
Like said, you have to keep going, you may do better on CD with the extra flavours & the nicer bars?? Worth looking into anyway? I know i might have to look at CD later on!
Congrats on your amazing loss, you're doing so well, Simone xx

dina & simone thank you so much...went to see the CD counsellor today she was great no pressure or anything. Gave me some free samples, a couple of bars and some porridge so that if I do fall off the LT wagon I can use them instead of something that would take me out of ketosis. Made a decision to stick with LT until my regular paharmacist is back from hols on 8th November which will be a total of 8 weeks. He has been so supportive I want to let him know my decision about changing to CD.
Glad you went to see the counsellor as it had kept you from giving in, whatever you decide will be the right decision for you LT isn't for everyone x
Good luck with the weigh in till nov hun xx

Angie, so sorry to hear you are struggling. I find it hard as well but just keep telling myself "only till Christmas" and that seems to do it! Well that and a teenage daughter who says things like "well eat it if you want to but how are you going to feel afterwards?" Tha guilt trip works everytime!!! I have become a BIG sniffer and that helps too!

I have been very tempted lately when chopping carrots for tea to just pop a small piece in my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't but I plan to have a large raw carrot as soon as I refeed!!!! How sad is that!!! Lol!!!

Hang in there babe, you are doing so well and the end is in sight!

Big hugs.
